VA Poldark: Complete Series Seasons 1-4 DVD - Region 1 - Classic - Historical Drama - English - Adult - 144+ - Movies & TV

Everyone knows the story so I won't comment on that.This complete season 4 edition has a great transfer and great remastering. The video is more crisp and clear than what I saw on PBS. The audio is significantly better as well. This UK version, while not Bluray, does have some nice extra footage inserted in the episodes that PBS did not show. The only downside is the two commercials inserted at the beginning of each disc. These are only shown once per disc. However, why is it necessary to get add money when I am paying for the set?Overall, if you are a Poldark fan this set is highly recommended.

I highly recommend it. Warning you'll get hooked and not want to stop watching it, and be so sad when it's over. They need to continue the video series by covering the rest of the books in the series. I had already bought the series but I bought this as a back up along with season 5 and Poldark Revealed.

The series is OK can tell they know nothing of true Christianity. So far it seems like a soap opera but is very much like the other pbs shows. Enjoyed watching but should not be watched by too young an audience. Just have seasons one through four. Don't know if I would spend the money on season 5 because I hear there is a new director and that it changes drastically.

I absolutely love everything about this series! The acting, cinematography, and storyline are equally exceptional. There is not a weak link in the cast, and the setting of Cornwall is breathtaking. Characters are so believable, and they draw you into their world with masterful artistry.

Loved the series however I am returning. The third season, disc 2 did not work.

I enjoy the period pieces that have come out of the UK. This is one of my favorites.

I watched this on Amazon Prime and couldn't stop...addicting. So I finally bought the series when I was on season 2 and my husband & I watched it together from the beginning...every night until done! He loved it too and so will you.

I loved this series even though it was kinda easy to figure what was going to happen. It was entertaining and quite frankly sometimes I just like to be entertained and not have to think - take a break and watch it.
