This "puppy" tent rocked the beach!
I purchased this for a recent vacation to another state's beaches. As a Floridian, I know my "beach gear" and this little "puppy" (tent) was awesome! It is very lightweight and easy to set up. It is large enough for two adults and kept the sunburn away. One day it was windy so I was very glad I had heeded the advice of another reviewer and bought different stakes. The stakes I purchased were plastic screw stakes that are made for sand. With them, the tent was very secure and it wasn't bothered even in a fairly strong wind. I was also glad I'd taken the advice of another reviewer and practiced folding the tent. It really wasn't too difficult and I did it by myself. It could be tricky for someone with no patience. I would encourage anyone that wants to keep those rays away to purchase this tent.

worked well for us!
(from a mom)— got this to use for the recent beach trip. worked great!!! love how easy it was to set up. just popped open. folding it back can be very very quick once you figure it out, doesn’t take long. it’s like folding the circular sun shades for your car. a fold, twist and it fits snuggly into its pack.i LOVED the large open vent in the back; and the side pockets w/i the tent. if you end up going w another brand, i would recommend you look for those two things (especially the vent). the ties/buttons to keep the vent open and the doors were nice. and the zippered front was fun for my 3yo son. also, it packed nice and flat and light in the suitcase.i would not say the metal sticks worked well to hold down the tent in the sand. might be different in a camping situation on solid ground. there was a strong breeze our first beach day and we just put heavy bags of clothes or a small cooler inside the tent to hold it down.my friend who i stayed w liked it so much, she got on amazon and got herself one!!!last thing— my son loved playing w the tent in general w/i our house. he would pretend to “camp”. so, it doesn’t have to be for a trip— it could be for fun at home, too!

Worked great for beach
We used this on a cruise to keep the sun off of our 10 month old on our beach days. We ended up leaving it at the last port as we possibly bent it the wrong way and could no longer get it back in the carrying bag. All in all though a GREAT Purchase for what we needed it for and plan on buying another before our next cruise. It’s very roomy. I could easily lay most of my body in it with my little guy. Also next time, we will be bringing our own stakes as these didn’t quite do the job. For the price though, very impressed

Crap
When it arrived I opened it up to see the size and I was pretty happy with it until I went to put it away and it wasn’t like other pop up tents. After watching you tube and being very careful I got it folded up but when I opened it agian it was so so deformed you would think I had thrown it around. I tried to bend it back and it made it worse i can’t even imagine it holding up at a beach with even the slightest wind

I can't fold it back
It was great at the beach. Easy pop-up but so hard to fold it back. I barely made it for 3 times and the fourth time I went to the beach it was impossible to fold it back and took me 30 min, then it broke on me. The wire came out and still impossible to fold, so I ended up having to throw it away. I was so sad. I'm looking for easier tent that I can fold within 1 min.

Nice
This is a great little sun shade tent. We have taken it to the beach twice now and love it. It’s light and two small adults can lay down side by side to get our heads out of the sun. I fill two water bottles with sand and place one in each side pocket. So far this has kept it from blowing away.

Comfy!
Now I will say up front, trying to get this back in it's bag is tricky. I did bend some of the poles. After watching some YouTube videos, I was able to figure it out though.I used this at the beach, and while camping. It gave me a perfect little spot to sit and read, while keeping out of the wind. It's easy to carry. Very light weight. I highly recommend!

Both negatives and positives
I loved how easy it was for the product to open but couldn't for the life of me figure out how to close it! It also didn't stick well onto the stand. I gave it 3 stats Bec it served its purpose of keeping my son out of the sun! Edited to add, the second time I used this it stopped closing altogether. Wouldn't buy again
