Great piece for my A7r3, although the screw that goes directly to the camera has been starting to strip. Hoping there is a way to get more of that screw?

I bought this Fotomix, as well as the Sunwayfoto L brackets. I have decided to keep this one and return the Sunway, though there were advantages to both, and both are good options.My decision was made based on the Fotomix being a bit more comfortable in my left hand, when not using a tripod. I tend to leave the L bracket on my camera pretty much all of the time, so how it feels when hand holding the camera is important to me. The camera was very stable on the tripod, and seems quite secure.Okay, about the battery door. This bracket does require you to move the door over the battery, from the camera body onto the bracket. NEVER FEAR!!! This door is designed to be truly simple to move. This is totally straightforward. It requires no tools, no expertise, and only takes a second or two. Once this is done you can get to the battery fine. You do have to line up the battery with a little bit of care, but it works pretty well.Oddly, the fact that this bracket comes in colors proved useful. I have two similar camera bodies, and having a red bracket on one, makes them easy to identify them at a glance. The other has a black L-bracket.

While this unit physically fits the A7riii it does not allow you to open the battery door nor the USB access door on the A7R III. It may better accomade the A9, but if you have an A7R III, do NOT purchase.Tjis a real shame as it fits the Arca mount quite well.
