Nature's Way, Alive! Max6 Dailiy, Multi-Vitamin, Max Potency, 90 Veg Caps

I tried free samples of these vitamins from my supplement store for three days. I felt a difference the second day compared to my Centrum. I was told by the gentleman who gave me samples to put an Alive in a glass of water and a Centrum in a glass of water and to my surprise the Centrum just barely broke down the coating after 3 hours. Now the Alive on the other hand completely dissolved in 20 minutes. So I was sold especially the way they made me feel. I have used them for about 4 yrs now and will continue to use them. They may be pricey compared to other vitamins but they are well worth it.

I haven't found any other whole foods multivitamin/multimineral supplement that's even remotely close to delivering the nutrients that Alive does. Read the ingredients label - this formula contains 25-50mg of ingredients that other "similar" products only contain 1-2mg of - including the very important B-vitamins. There are other products that claim to be complete vitamin formulas, but then you read the label and see that you're only getting, like, 30mg of vitamin C.I've looked and looked, and everything else I've seen contains much less and costs much more.

A person has to be careful when ordering these because you may receive the wrong formula. I ordered the 90 Vcaps formula and received the (hard) tablet formula which is sold in exactly the same box with a slightly different colored band around the bottom. It's hard to tell the difference. Since I wanted Vcaps, I mailed the others back and ordered elsewhere. Vcaps are easier to swallow for older folks also disolve in your system better and therefore benefits your body as it should. Do like the product a lot and feel the difference when taking them daily.

Buyer beware!!! I use this brand all the time but... when I ordered this it wasn't the same thing I used before. I think I had used the womens once daily energy formula and I didn't know Alive made so many formulations. This one was the pits! It's a capsule, it stinks, it give me a horrible stomach ache and I didn't even realize until I read other reviews that you had to take 6 a day - that's right SIX. I've never taken more than one vitamin tablet or capsule a day. I'll be very careful in the future and avoid this formula - I guess the hint should have been the little 6 between the Max and the word Daily on the label. I'm tossing these and going to a local store to be sure I get the right formula. Of course I've only been taking one a day until I had them for at least 15 days before I read other reviews on this product. So now I take 2 a day and it doesn't do a thing - except give me a stomach ache - so I'm tossing them.

I will start off by saying that I love these vitamins, in the tabs. These Vcaps are horrible! They smell horrible and they taste worse! Oh my heck, I cannot stress enough, how gosh awful these things are. I will put on my big girl pants and finish the bottle, but I will pout and cry, while wearing those big girl pants.The fact that I am not seeing any one else mention anything about the horror of these things, make me wonder if I have a bad batch. Bad batch or not, they do give you (or at least me) energy!Updated stars to three because they do work, they just really stink.

You can simply read the content label to see why this is a great selection.I enjoy the Vcaps, for they are much smaller and easier to swallow than the tabs.Trouble is, it is hard to find the Vcaps anywhere but online. Price here is also slightlycheaper than retail.Yes, I like this vitamin. The recommended dosage is 6 caps a day. Keep that in mind-- if it is too many -- for you to consume.

Did they change the formula? This doesn't seem like the same vitamin I've been buying for years.... There's a very strong, nauseating vitamin odor/taste to these. Not like they've gone bad, just like... i don't quite know how to describe. I've been buying them for YEARS and have never had this experience. Disappointed.

These are excellent 'full spectrum' vitamins. These are one of the very few that you can actually notice differences in your personal health even after taking them for a short time.They seemed to help compensate for a lack of well-rounded nutrition. I also noticed fewer seasonal allergies and the allergies that I did suffer from were less severe.Highly recommended --- these are the real deal amongst hundreds of supplements that are virtually worthless.
