Q: This should work for hook and loop patches right?

I am not sure what you mean by hook and loop patches. I bought it for my daughter who needed to extend the width of something that went over the horses head to protect it from flies.

Q: What is the weight limit?

Weight limit??? I have no idea at all. My use was as a strap to close a horse "boot" around the hoof. There was no weight bearing involved. Thus said, the Velcro has a very good "hold". Just how much depends, I suppose, on the size of the Velcro strip used and the weight of the object you want to support. Sorry, I know this is not much help.

The Hook and Loop Made of 100% nylon. So it's not easy to burn.And the material is very soft,better than polyester material and polyester/nylon blend material. The hook/loop roll only one side is hook/loop.The two roll is a pair. This is firmly stuck，is wear resistant, is not easy to fall off and damage. Package includes both 4 Inches Width 2 Yards Length HOOK Volume and 4 Inches Width 2 Yards Length LOOP Volume. Attention：This product is without adhesive! It the 2 sides of Velcro material which must be sewn on to what ever you use it for. I secure my uniform patches with. I sew the hook and loop side ( the hard stiff sided material to my patches and the same size section of the soft side directly to my shirt or jacket for a fast rip off patch

Exactly 3mm. use this to convert to SAM inches. Hope this help.
