Gruyere de Comte - Pound Cut (1 pound)

I got the item ok- just didn’t care for the taste of the cheese- not the vendors fault,

Flavor is fresh and so creamy

This Gruyere cheese it well-flavored and melts wonderfully. I say 'four stars' because I have enjoyed this cheese in Switzerland and this version is wonderfully creamy but not so 'nuanced' in flavor as my personal favorites.

I am a Gruyere connoisseur and will pay a lot for my favorite cheese. This expensive cheese was inedible. It’s sharper than any cheese I’ve eaten, it actually had a taste of ammonia which honestly was nauseating. Absolutely appalling and a true waste of 60 dollars.

Not worth it

Good cheese but bitter needs help! Cannot stand on its own for plates/dishes/casseroles…bleh!

The cheese was good & what I expected, BUT my ice pack was melted & cheese wasn’t cold… I’M SURE IF THEY SENT IT BY UPS OR FED-EX AND NOT THE USPS( mail) IT WOULD HAVE BEEN COLD!!!!

It was the worst comte cheese I've ever had. So disappointed
