HarperCollins Magic Ballerina - 22 Book Collection

Lovely set of books! My daughter (6 and a half) and I read a few pages a night together before she goes to sleep. She is a keen ballerina and really loves these books and the characters. Every few books the main character changes which is a good way to keep a child engaged as there are quite a few books to get through! We zoom through them as the storylines are fun and exciting with ‘goodies and baddies’ (but not at all scary for little ones). There are little illustrations on every couple of pages so that helps to keep your little one focused (those who are at the age where they are used to reading books with lots of bright and vibrant pictures, but want to read something a bit more grown up). Great value for money and perfect for any little one who is into fairy tales.

I bought this set for my step granddaughters birthday as she loves ballet & is obsessed with Darcy Bussell. I'm pleased with the speed of delivery & the books themselves but was disappointed that they were not supplied in a slipcase, just wrapped in cellophane. As it is a collection of books, costing me £29 btw, I would have expected them to be encased in a box where they can be housed/displayed as a set. I have now had to purchase a separate box for this purpose

The collection is nice. Although it doesn’t come in a case is a good value for the money. The average number of pages for each book is 80-90 pages, so what can you expect more for the price? I bought it for my daughter, who is 3years and half because she is passionate about ballet and ballerinas, but for this age is a bit difficult, although in time will be alright.
