Eye Gel

I have highly sensitive skin and suffer from massive amounts of allergies. Living in an urban city also means plenty of pollutants and irritants in the air. Puffy red eyes in the morning are not an uncommon occurrence! Sometimes, it gets so bad that I can only open my eyes halfway when I wake up - so puffy are my lids. Wake Eye Gel has been an amazing find. I was first attracted to the brand's ethics (paraben-free, sulphate-free, not tested on animals, responsibly sourced ingredients, environmentally conscious, pro-women, and a charity partnership with Women's Aid to fight domestic abuse). Additionally, I have combination oily skin and prefer aqua based skincare products. The fact that there was aloe, cucumber, collagen, and antioxidants in this eye gel sold it for me. Since using the eye gel for the past couple of weeks, I've been pleased to discover that my sensitive skin has suffered no bad reactions to it whatsoever. The cool gel is an amazingly soothing sensation in the morning - the perfect pick-me-up on sleepy days. It has truly helped with bringing down puffiness from allergies. I see a significant reduction just 2 to 10 minutes after application (depending on the severity of the puffiness). Putting the eye gel in the fridge makes it even better! As far as dark eye circles go, there appears to be some fading as well. I also like how it absorbs. One of my pet peeves is that most eye gels don't sit well under makeup. But my makeup glides on perfectly just 5 minutes after applying Wake Eye Gel. Last of all, I'm a fan of the packaging! Clean, minimalist, and stylish. The bottle looks like a little statement piece sitting on the shelf.

I have been using this product for about a month now and feel like I have a pretty good feel of how the product works and how I like it. Overall, I love this product. The feel, the look and even the presentation of it packaging-wise are impressive to me. It is truly an eye gel and less of an eye cream, so for intense hydration, it may not work for you alone, you may have to combine it with another eye cream. The times I really love to use this eye gel are when I am feeling extremely tired and my eyes are very swollen and puffy. This eye gel has a cooling sensation that really makes you feel awake and helps soothe the warmth that can come with swelling around the eye area, and it does lightly, but not permanently decrease under-eye bags and circles. Ingredient wise, I was overall impressed, however I did not like the inclusion of witch hazel (Hamamelis Virginiana) in this product. I don't like witch hazel in any of my skincare products, because of the fact that it is an astringent and can be quite harsh on the skin. I, especially did not like that it was included in a product meant for the eye area. However, on the flip side, the rest of the ingredients, I loved. Glycerin is the second ingredient, which is great, aloe vera is the third, and these are both very hydrating ingredients. The reason I find this eye cream to not be as hydrating as a cream based eye cream is, is because of the texture, which is quite liquid-y and gel-like (obviously, as it is an eye gel). This brand and product is cruelty, paraben, and sulfate free and the packaging is not made of plastic. I gave this 4/5 stars due to the inclusion of witch hazel in this product, but other than that, the eye gel is wonderful. I think this product is ideally suited for those with combination-oily skin during all times of the year and can be used for combination-dry and normal skin during summer, when more humidity (if you live in a region with humidity) is present. This eye cream could also be great for beginners in skincare or teenagers.

I keep this product in the fridge and I use it right when I get out of the shower. The gel consistency is great but honestly I wouldn't say it helps too much with puffiness. The cooling effect from keeping it in the fridge helps immensely. It does feel great upon application and helps a bit with dark circles. For the price, I'd say yes- its good and has solid ingredients. I will stick to SkinCeuticals, Age Eye Complex.. definitely pricey but if you're looking for real results for dark circles, fine lines, & puffiness. It's a miracle and also keep it refrigerated.

While I wouldn't say I have suffered from a lack of sleep lately, since quarantine started the bags under my eyes have been heavy. Probably due to being on a computer for long days and the stresses of the world, but at least I don't have the added concern of my under-eye suitcases now that Wake eye gel has come into my life! I have been using this for several weeks now. It is lightweight and hydrating, doesn't irritate my skin (extra points as I have sensitive skin, smells clean and fresh (not a super strong smell which I also like), and tightens without feeling like its stretching my skin. My husband commented on my skin last week saying I looked younger + I have to believe it is because of Wake as this is the only new product I have used as of late! It is amazing how much the eyes can make a difference... While the effectiveness of the product is probably what everyone is most concerned with, it is definitely an added bonus that the company does not test on animals, that they care about using natural ingredients and that they support women with a portion of their proceeds. They are using ethical and respectable practices throughout their product and brand which makes me feel real good when I put it on day and night!

I was encouraged by all the five-star reviews, but was very disappointed in the product. I did not notice any wrinkle reduction or “brightening” of the eyes. In fact, many days I would find that the gel that I put on in the AM (half a pump between both eyes) would actually be crusty and clumped on my eyelashes. It was never fully absorbed despite me massaging it in. I started not using it every day. Then I used it for 3 days straight in the AM and ended up with a zit on my upper eyelid! Never happened before! I finally tossed it.

Il contorno occhi è uno step della skincare routine spesso molto sottovalutato. La pelle in quest'area è sottile e molto delicata e dev'essere trattata bene (o meglio) delle altre zone del viso. Cosa utilizzare? Ci sono tante tipologie di prodotto in commercio per esigenze specifiche, e se non avete idea di come iniziare vi dò una parola chiave: idratazione. L'idratazione è quello che più di tutto la nostra pelle ha bisogno, su viso e corpo, e spesso può venir meno a causa di fattori esterni o per predisposizione. Ho provato questo siero senza troppe pretese, amo testare prodotti nuovi e cerco di farmi un'idea obiettiva mentre li utilizzo. La consistenza in gel rende la stesura veloce e di rapido assorbimento lasciando una piacevole sensazione di freschezza (per un tocco in più vi consiglio di riporlo in frigo) Dopo l'applicazione lo sguardo è subito più fresco e defaticato e il merito va principalmente agli ingredienti appositamente studiati per ottenere questo tipo di risultato. Come potete vedere dalle foto è presente soprattutto Aloe Vera, importante componente che aiuta a mantenere la salute della nostra pelle. È presente anche collagene idrolizzato che con la sua azione rimpolpante distende piccole rughe e mantiene liscia ed elastica la pelle. Questo è un risultato che sicuramente si noterà col passare del tempo e soprattutto con un uso costante del prodotto. Lo ritengo un prodotto molto valido e dal rapporto qualità-prezzo non indifferente, lo ricomprerò!

So far the product seems to be working, the bags under my eyes have reduced so I am happy so far. Delivery was super fast and the packaging secure so no breakages. I will buy from this seller again.

Being a sleep-deprived mama to a ten month old that doesn’t seem to sleep, the bags under my eyes are ridiculous as you can imagine. When I heard that this product could potentially diminish these problems, I was super excited to give it a try. First of all I read up on the ingredients. It contains Hydrolysed Collagen to help diminish wrinkles and reduces inflammation around the eyes. Cucumber & Eldeflower which instantly awakens and soothes puffy eyes. Vitamin-E which is a strong antioxidant that moisturizes the skin. Aloe Vera for soothing and witch hazel and rose water which is an anti inflammatory. Everything you need to revitalise your face and everything you look for in a good eye serum. The serum is nice and cooling, especially when applied first thing in the morning - makes you feel revitalised and fresh to start the day. Well needed after being awake every 2 hours with my baby. As well as that, It’s a great primer alternative for make-up. The foundation glides on smoothly and the EyeWake serum creates a light seamless base. I can imagine the serum lasting a long time so defiantly worth the money in that sense. After using it religiously everyday it doesn’t look like much has gone as only a tiny bit has to be applied each day. Should last me at least up to a year if I use the right amount daily. So in my honest opinion, after roughly 2 weeks of use, the fine lines around my eyes seem to have smoothed a little. Overall, I’d say I’m pleased with the product and will continue to use it on a daily basis under my make up. Also excited to take on holiday. Cannot wait to see continued results with further use.

Das Augengel gefällt mir sehr gut! Die Haut um meine Augenpartie ist ziemlich sensibel und bei vielen Produkten bemerke ich schnell eine gereizte Reaktion an der Haut in Form von kleinen roten Flecken. Außerdem trage ich auch Kontaktlinsen und viele Produkte brennen mir in den Augen (da sie wohl durch das Schwitzen ein wenig in die Augen reinfließen). Beim Augengel von Wake Skincare habe ich überhaupt keine Reizungen gemerkt, noch hat es meine Augen irritiert. Es fühlt sich super erfrischend an und hilft meine Augenpartie zu entspannen und zu glätten. Funktioniert auch gut unter Makeup. Was mir gut gefällt, ist dass es auch keinen Duft hat - sowas ist ja bei Produkten für die Augen überhaupt nicht notwendig und reizt die Haut ja bloß. Bei diesem Augengel scheinen die Inhaltsstoffe sehr sanft zu sein. Es ist auch Witch Hazel enthalten, was gegen Schwellungen und dunklen Augenringen helfen kann. Ein anderer Pluspunkt ist das Gefühl, dass es hinterlässt - ich habe schon ein anderes Augenserum ausprobiert, dass ähnlich ist von der Konsistenz aber es hat immer einen klebrigen Film hinterlassen. Bei diesem Augengel ist das ganz anders - es zieht schnell ein, aber es hinterlässt ein frisches, angenehmes Gefühl. Man muss auch wirklich nicht viel auftragen - daher ist das Produkt auch ergiebig und lohnt sich für den Preis. Das Packaging finde ich auch super süß, definitiv ein Hingucker und es ist aus Glas und nicht Plastik. Außerdem haben sie beim Versand extra darauf geachtet kein unnötiges Plastik zu verwenden, was ich super finde! Das Produkt wird in dem Pump-Spender auch gut erhalten, da kein Sauerstoff reinkommt - und das ist auch hygienischer. Was aber besonders cool ist, ist dass sie bei jedem Kauf auch an Women's Aid spenden. Hut ab! Das finde ich wirklich klasse! Also, ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Produkt und kann's wirklich weiterempfehlen!
