Perfect replacement for my old Optimus turntable and installation is easy
This turntable belt was a replacement item for my old Optimus record player.When I first installed it the speed of the turntable started to lose altitude thus distorting the audio.So I remembered from another review that the belt has a "right side" and a "wrong side". In other words I had to remove the belt and turn it inside out (which was the correct side) so it would not slip up or down on the small spindle beneath the turntable plate. That solved the problem and it has worked like a charm ever since. I know the speed is correct because I can play along with the records on my keyboard instruments.

Brought my old turntable back to life!
Pulled out the turntable to record some old vinyl music for a family event - and discovered that the platter didn't move. Discovered the old belt had essentially dried up and broken in multiple places. Found this, and it was a perfect fit - thanks!

Ned A Belt?
When the belt on my turntable broke, of course I went to Amazon first. Product was perfect in every way. High quality, excellent packing and fast delivery. Records are playing again.

My dad's old AKAI turntable is running again, the installation process was easy.

The belt fit like a glove and I was really amused with finding a video on showing how to put the belt on the turntable so easily using the locator pin on the bottom of the disc
