Hellsing Volume 8

After volume seven focused mostly on Seras Victoria, this eighth volume of the `Hellsing' manga focuses on Alucard himself. With the Hellsing forces greatly outnumbered Alucard is allowed to release his full power and the result is a vision of hell. However, while Alucard is now at his most powerful, he is also at his most vulnerable and Father Anderson will get his best chance to finish the monster. This is another truly brilliant volume of the `Hellsing' manga with some nice dark images and some great action. This volume also includes some interesting background for both Alucard himself, as well as Archbishop Maxwell. This volume also includes a little bit of humour from the Major as well. `Hellsing is a brilliant series and with only two volumes left it is set to go out with a bang.

Bought this as a surprise for my girlfriend and she's a weirdo for perfect condition manga and she was very happy with this, and I am too so thankyou very much, fast service, great condition book. Will deffo think of you again when I buy from amazon. :D

Loving this series

Unfortunately my copy has a misprinted cover, with at least a CM of white space at the top and cutting off a cm of the bottom of the book. On it's on it would be fine but as part of a collection it is very easy to notice

The original Hellsing anime stopped before the series got really good, so it was up to the manga to carry on. Vol. 8 has been a long time coming, but it carries the crazy, blood-soaked story on into the battle of vampires, werewolves, Nazis, the Protestant Knights, and the Catholic Iscariot Section XIII. The Hellsing Organization stands alone against all its enemies and the fight has come to their door. Each of the armies has a champion 'trump card' and all of these are facing off in what remains of London. I'm glad the anime is being remade into the Hellsing Ultimate series, but until it's finished, I'll be sitting here waiting on Vol. 9.

I have two problems with this book. First, that as soon as I got my hot little hands on it I couldn't stop reading until I finished, and second, that volume 9 STILL isn't pout in the US. It's a great story, but the graphic violence is not kid friendly. Don't give this to your 10 year old just because it's a "comic book."

Hellsing Manga is amazing and fun to read... I had a great time reading this series and I would recommend it to anyone who loves Manga and anime. PS: I watched the anime before reading the Manga and it was amazing :D
