I have a 15" macbook pro retina that I bought a Thule Gauntlet for $50. I recently bought a 13" macbook pro retina and was looking for a similar type of hard case that was more reasonable in cost. I received the Unik case and used it for my macbook pro 13" for trip to the Philippines. It worked really well for 1/2 the price of the Thule Gauntlet which now seems overpriced.If you are looking for an alternative to the Thule Gauntlet, this is your answer.

The case fit well, had a good grip so it wouldn't slip from your hand if you carried it, and stood up perfectly to liquid spills and minor bangs and falls. I had it in my backpack (with my laptop inside) when I slipped and fell on some ice and the front left corner hit the ground, breaking the zipper and effectively ruining the case. My laptop didn't have a scratch on it, though, so this was $28 well spent. I'll probably be buying another one, though I'm going to look into some other brands as well.The mouse is also nice. The cover to put in the batteries and store the USB connection is very hard to take off, which is annoying, but it was a nice addition for like $2 out of the $28 (the standalone case is $26).

When this case arrived I was pleasantly surprised. It's high quality case that was nearly a perfect fit for the Microsoft Surface Book. It appears to provide protection similar to competing cases such as the Thule Gauntlet 3.0... The problem with this case is the smell. Whatever it is that manufacturers typically do to eliminate the smells from plastic products was not done during the production of this case. It's a strong smell and very unpleasant. The smell alone drove me to return it.

I wanted a Case for my Surface Book to protect my investment especially when i need to take it everywhere with me in a laptop backpack. I was researching for a good shock-proof and water resistant case and everyone i spoke to only asked me to go with Thule case. I saw this on Amazon at half the price of Thule Case and also read the reviews. It was a lot of help from one of the reviews which confirmed that the Surface Book fits in it. So i thought of taking a chance by buying this instead of Thule for my Surface Book and save some money. I have to say that i was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the case when i received it. First let me say that the packaging of this case exceeded my expectations and it did arrive on time. As soon as i got it, i just put my Surface Book in it to check if it fits and Tada.... It fit the surface book pretty well. There's some room on the sides but it gives the opportunity to leave the Surface Pen attached. The Quality of the Case is pretty good and almost matches to the Thule Case which i had a chance to look at in Best Buy stores. It has been close to 3 weeks and i have no qualms about this case. Overall i'm very Happy with this Purchase and would recommend this product for anyone who's looking for a case for their precious investment whether Macbook or Surface Book.

I've been looking for a "hard" laptop case to carry my Surfacebook after I cracked the screen and just got it fixed. With my new refurbished device, I wanted to kit it up with all the protective gear (icasercase leather case, TPU keyboard cover, protective glass) which previously I thought was just out of my price range as a college student. I'm satisfied with my icasercase leather case to protect my laptop from scratches and even solve the problem of the folding hinge biting at my skin when I rest it on my legs, but the leather is fairly thin and with rainy days and accidental waterbottle leaks in my backpack, I wanted to upgrade my current laptop case to something more durable and somewhat water resistant.I previously bought the black Nacuwa 13.5" but the surfacebook didn't fit! I was so disappointed but on a whim decided to purchase the UNIK 13.5" as I saw reviews saying there was a little wiggleroom with their surfacebooks. And it fits ~snugly~ but the zipper moves freely without me worrying about scratching the leather on my surface skin. There's no room for anything much but some papers and the surface pen but that works with me. I haven't tested the water resistance but the material and zipper seems high quality. I thought I wouldn't like the UNIK branding/design but I actually don't mind it and in comparision to the Nacuwa, I think it looks more modern/youthful. I also really like the flash of color of the neon yellow zippers handles. They are made of some type of hard silicone that feels nice to the touch. Overall the case isn't SUPER rigid, like its not a box, but it definetly feels more durable than the neoprene/soft laptop cases that I've had in the past. I also feel that the border/edge protection is sufficient. Would reccommend!Would give 5 stars if were not for the slight chemical smell...it's not terrible, I suspect it will air out without much difficulty, but that might bother some people more.

Very happy with this case. I think it is well made and certainly worth the money especially as compared to the more expensive similar cases like the Thule. The Thule case does have a heavy duty zipper but the zipper on this case seems fine and for normal wear and tear should be just fine. Good protection and fits my Dell Inspiron 13 5378 perfect. I would definitely recommend this case.

When I purchased this I didn't realize it came with the mouse, so that was a nice surprise upon opening, haha. This case fits my Lenovo 13" Thinkpad Chromebook perfectly. This is not a true "hard shell" case; however, that being said, I won't return it because I do trust it to protect my Chromebook. It smells though, and I am hoping that with time, it will "air out."

Case fits my Samsung chromebook well. Only drawback is no sleeve or pocket for the included mouse, also definitely not a rugged hard case. Padded inside & outside is a hard foam material. Ok for the price since mouse was included & works well w/my device.
