With so many choices out there for picking an item like this, oftentimes we get lost and lose sight of what matters. This little turn signal for bicycles is awesome! I bought it for one of my grandsons and it took just minutes to install, the instructions were clear and simple to follow and the quality of this light with a remote that “ pairs “ to the main unit is more than I expected. It’s water proof and very durable. Proper thinking was put into this, as the led lights are bright and clearly visible. It’s got all the functionality of automotive lights , and I feel much safer about letting the kids ride around the neighborhood. They have had people come along side them and compliment them on having the lights! The main thing motorists say is that the lights helped them see the kids on their bikes!! And after all.... isn’t that half the battle when your on a bicycle?.... Being seen?? I Highly recommend these lights to anyone wanting quality, affordable, safety for themselves or their kids! Was looking for something with turn signal capability and a brake light for my motorized bike so took a chance on this .. glad i did i love it! .. the controller is super intuitive to use mounted on the left bar near the grip, the wireless is flawless and has really good range like over 20' .. as far as operation ive noticed a couple of errors in the answered questions above, for one, the brake DOES work with a turn signal on, but it overrides the turn signal until you release the brake button then the turn signal continues until you cancel ... also the mount is NOT adjustable and if you turn it then the light will be vertical lol .. thats my only grip is the mount for the light itself .. it is designed to mount to a tilted seat post and thats it.. i had to (carefully) cut and modify it to screw it to my rear rack to retain its 'removable' functionality .. in a pinch though you could probably velcro it on haha .. anyway i love it, like i said the intuitive design and functionality of it means you can operate it almost without thinking about it and you dont have to look if its mounted close to the grip .. oh and also the turn signal button stays lit until you cancel, very well thought out .. you 'do not' have to physically turn the unit off either, all you have to do is turn off the tail light if you have it on at the grip controller and its good, thats all ive done and it doesnt discharge ... anyway you wont regret this if you need tail lighting, its nice ...

I'd give it 4.5 stars if there were the option. Overall, great light -- nice and bright and easy to use once you figure it out. Instructions were obviously not written by a native English speaker and were a little hard to follow. Having a way to more easily remove the remote (as to prevent someone from stealing it) would be nice, although the remote wouldn't do much for anyone without the light to match it, but a would-be thief may not know that. More important would be the ability to easily remove for charging purposes. If it will be more than a few hours, be sure to turn the light off on the light itself as to save battery. Leaving in standby mode (by turning off via the remote) seems to drain the battery appreciably faster.Light has proven to be hardy in the Portland rain, so that is a big plus!

I bought this turn signal for my e-bike and it seems to do ok. I’m still getting used to the pairing between the control and the light units. It could be easier. I don’t use it for the brake light since the e-bike has an automatic one. Just be aware of turning off the turn signal after your turn. There is a dim red backlight when a signal is activated, but no sound. That would be one thing that could improve. Another improvement would be adding side dome lights on the handlebar ends. This would be a better visual indicator of the rear light activity as long as they could either be paired or even wired into the handlebar control. The mounting bracket for the rear light is both convenient from a recharging standpoint and inconvenient from the perspective of needing a horizontal bar mount option. I more or less have a wood shop in my garage and reused a thick piece of wooden dowel cut and wedged in place and secured with zip ties to attach the mounting clip for the light. If you’re going on trails where you won’t need the light, just remove it. The holding track is snug and the plastic clip holds the light in place on street rides, but I’m not sure about dirt trails. You won’t need a signal for trails anyway. It’s easy enough to remove without tools and put it in a cargo bag or cargo pocket.

I received this item today and I must say that this is quite an awesome light for my bike to have! This is very easy to use and very easy to install even if one wouldn’t read the instructions (which I did) but it’s very simplistic in its design, yet has a system that allows you to ride on a bike with car like fashion rear lighting! Left and right turning signals as well as flashing lights like hazards on a car and a solid light for braking mimicking brake lights for a vehicle! Would definitely recommend for any bicicyle enthusiasts it is a must have!

Love this product all and more promised by the manufacturer buy without hesitation easy to attach great functionality adds Class to the bike and truly visible as here in Florida weather issues arise quickly. Love this bike rear light with remote

Bought (in April '19) for the rear of my electric bicycle. Feels a lot safer to be able to signal when riding on the road. Connecting is tricky sometimes, but always works so far.Update 10/4/19: I allowed the remote to fully discharge, as there isn't a battery meter on it, and when I recharged it, the remote and light will no longer connect. No longer functions as a turn signal. I can still use it as a taillight, but not what I purchased it for. Very disappointing, product needs some kind of reset button in case of problems.
