TUDIA Merge Nokia 7.1 Case with Heavy Duty Extreme Protection/Rugged but Slim Dual Layer Shock Absorption Case for Nokia 7.1 (2018) [NOT Compatible with Nokia 6.1] (Metallic Slate)

This case goes on much more easily than my last one, but still feels secure on the phone. Protection seems modest, but good for a case of this size. I wanted something that would protect the back glass of my phone, while still looking slim, and this seems to fit the bill. The material is rubbery, but has a silky smoothness that feels nice. Buttons are not stiff, allowing you to feel the clickiness of the underlying buttons. There seems to be a typo in the description photo. It shows a camera lens clearance of .03mm, which would be paper thin, but the clearance is much more substantial. I'm guessing they meant 3mm. It's enough that I have no worries of scratching the lens when setting my phone down on a flat surface. Overall I'm very happy with this case.

This case fits perfectly along the contours of the Nokia 7.1. I've used the case for around a month and have had no issues using the volume and power buttons. The case is thick enough to provide several millimeters of protection for the camera lens if you put the phone screen-side-up. The outside layer has held up well so far, and the materials seem solid. The case is actually made up of two parts - the softer silicone lining, and a harder plastic backing that snaps onto the lining. I haven't noticed any discoloration yet, and expect the case to remain black.

This case is nice and sleak and easily slides right into your pocket. The dual protection fits snug and does a good job protecting the phone. You can feel the shock protected corners and the rubber wraps around the edge of the glass face so you can put your phone on a table without worrying about the glass. That rubber lip is not as prominent as an Outterbox would be but the case is also slimmer than that would be as well. I feel my phone is well protected and yet not bulky. The back cover protects the lenses but wish there was a slight texture for better grip. I don't feel you will have any problem holding it but it's more of a tactile feel I wish it had.

This case is manufactured from very study TPU material. The case forms a firm, raised edge around the phone's screen. This provides a nice tactile feel. The volume and power buttons are pronounced, which makes them easy for my fingers to find and operate. The camera protection is good; same as any other minimalist TPU case.Along the back edge of the lower half of the case, there are some raised nubby things. These don't provide any additional grip, imo. Other than those, most of the case is a flat, satin finish. Just something to keep in mind.I had previous purchased the KuGi case. However, I returned it. I like this Tudia case better. This case feels more substantial than the  KuGi case . The hole cutouts on this Tudia case line up accurately.

This case is sturdy, yet not bulky. It fits my new Nokia 7.1 perfectly. I chose it because I wanted a smooth surface that would slide in and out of my pocket easily. I feel like I made a good choice. It came in the same box as my phone—no delay— so I was able to put it on the phone immediately. Very pleased with this case.

when I got a new phone, I had to get a new cover I always get the shock absorbing ones in case I drop my phone these protect your phone from falls and drops It fits and feels good The side buttons are also covered by this case but I haven't had any problems it I am happy with this case

This case is sturdy and adds some bulk to the phone which is exactly what I needed and wanted. This phone case is strong and provides great protection for my Nokia 7.1. Item was delivered very quickly by Amazon. Always great service.

This case offers marginal protection for the Nokia 7.1 camera lenses that will be fine for some, not enough for others, and earns a 2 and 1/2 stars rating.As of the date of this review it is difficult to find good quality cases for the Nokia 7.1, because it was just released 3 months ago in October 2018, and Nokia has failed to make any good cases of its own, but is instead choosing to rely on third-party manufacturers who are free to wing it with their own cheapo product design and quality standards. The Nokia 7.1 has high quality ZEISS (Carl Zeiss) brand lenses in the rear facing camera. As with any case, it is important that the lenses are recessed so that when the phone is set on a surface the lenses do not touch it and scratch. More so if you are going to drop $350 on the 7.1 with ZEISS camera lenses. If you owned a $350 digital camera, would you set it face down on a desk or table with the lens touching the surface? Probably not. From one perspective, the Nokia 7.1 is a $350 digital camera that can also make phone calls, so it is best to protect the lenses.TUDIA's advertised 3.0 mm recess is an accurate measurement and offers protection that is better than nothing. For some it will be adequate. We consider it marginal and prefer a bit more, like the depth provided by a top of the line OtterBox brand case, which for instance, recesses our the lenses of our former and LG Stylo 3 by 4 mm, and our LG Volt by a whopping 5 mm which, for those of you who are metrically challenged, is basically 1/4 of an inch. (Don't blame Jimmy Carter for trying to learn you by nationalizing the metric standard, or claim that you have 12 toes instead of 10, unless you really do, in which case please contact us so that we can lick them.) But with the Nokia 7.1 being new, OtterBox is not offering a case for it at the time of this review. On the other hand, 3 mm of protection is 3 mm better than the total garbage "SLEO Nokia 7.1 Case - Rubberized Hard PC Back Case Cover for Nokia 7.1 Phone," sold on Amazon by SLEO.Accessories, which like many other 7.1 cases, is completely flush with the lenses, offering a useless 0 mm of protection. We bought this TUDIA case to replace the SLEO that we mistakenly bought, and are returning the SLEO.Note that the TUDIA's metallic backing options are metal colored *plastic,* not metal.

Good design, looks good. Easy to fit

Easy to fit over phone and holds phone tight. Adds a bit of bulk to the phone making it feel more solid. Nice easy to feel side buttons, Hard backing with contoured grip is a nice touch. Well made solid case, very happy with purchase.
