You do get what you pay for...
If you really want to return your sun visor mirror to like-new function, you're going to want to look elsewhere. One of the spring clips that props the cover open on our W211's passenger side visor broke. This meant having to use a hand to prop open the cover if you wanted the mirror light to come on. It's truly a little thing, but it annoyed my spouse enough for me to look for a fix. The Danci Parts visor mirror replacement is not it.Yes, the Danci color is a little off, there's no nice padding under the cover to protect the mirror AND the buyer-applied warning sticker is both badly cut and contains spelling errors. I could have lived with that, but it's the actual function of the cover that fails this replacement. You have to reuse your original mirror glass with the Danci cover. Other than the mirror glass, other parts of the original cannot be swapped onto the Danci. If you look at the photos of the Mercedes cover you can see the mirror is held securely in place by the molded-in plastic clips on the back. The second photo also shows the broken metal spring on our factory part. Installing the mirror glass into the Danci part, you'll find that the molded clips do not hold the mirror in place securely at rest. In fact, the mirror glass dropped out on me at one point. As the replacement cover is designed to prop itself open without the use of metal springs, the frame bends and warps around the mirror when the cover is opened.Installed in the car, the Danci Parts mirror cover looks fine and clips into the opening in the visor nicely. The extra ticket/pass clip is easily removed to make the part look like the factory part. While the cover will pop up and stay open on its own, it will not open enough to depress the mirror light switch without assistance. For me, this means I'm back to square one with my spouse having to use her hand to hold open the cover to keep the light on. There's the fail. Why would you buy the Danci Parts cover? Maybe if your mirror cover is fully broken off, this would be an okay way to add back a cover if price was a concern. When you think about it though, you could probably continue to live without a cover and not spend anything. On the other hand, if you want your Mercedes to be more like, well, a Mercedes, then this isn't the replacement part for you. The quality is nowhere near that of the real Mercedes part. For the price, the Danci was worth a try, but I'm just going to order the factory part for ~$45 and know that it'll look and work like originally intended.

Value for the money.
Product fits perfectly to into the sun visor. The color is very bright not as original. But most of the time, the visor is flipped to the headliner anyway. But it's definitely not Mercedes quality. For the money you get a good replacement that's fitting fine. The warning decals for the airbag use are misspelled. Other than that you can use them if you need.
