KEENMen's Revel III Mid Height Waterproof Insulated Hiking Boot

I've walked about 60 miles so far and they felt great from the get go. I was a bit concerned about fitting and at first thought they might be a little too short for my feet, but have had no issues with toe bruising or any blistering. I bought them for snow hiking and fall backpacking. I haven't had a chance to try them in those conditions yet, but have walked in 25º F weather for about an hour and my feet were toasty warm. For someone with as bad of circulation as me that was quite nice. They seem sturdy and I can't wait to put them through some more rigorous testing in the Cascades.

These things are the BEST hiking shoes I’ve ever had. Super comfortable, durable and darn good looking. I don’t think I’ll ever buy another brand of hiking shoes and I wish I could get away with wearing them everywhere.

Within their limits, I've found these to be pleasant winter boots. I like Keens in general because of the wide toe box and somewhat of a rocker sole, both of which are kind to my old arthritic toes. These are well padded, which adds to their comfort and warmth. The padding also makes them a bit sloppy, and I find they needed regular re-tightening as the padding packs down. They also run a bit large. I usually buy a wide width, and these are more than wide enough in the standard width. My 11D feels more like and 11 1/4EE. The soles are a softer compound than most hiking boots, which makes them better on ice and packed snow. So far they've been waterproof and warm and very comfortable. The trade off is mostly in less than rigid ankle support and in general sloppiness. I've found that Keen's quality control and construction is somewhat hit and miss, and I don't expect a particularly long life from these boots. I also own the Keen's Summit County III Winter Boots, which are very similar to these except taller and warmer and better for deep snow. The soles are a little different, but the rest of my review would be the same as for the Revel's. Both boots are a bit bulky and numb for driving, but not impossible. Good enough for my purposes.

These are my first KEENs they are very comfortable and hope they last.Ware a 9 1/2 and got a 9 1/2. My feet are very happy.These are pretty warm on your feet. Your legs and body will freeze before your feet.I'm impressed.I'll get more KEENS.I am dinging y'all a star for the they threading in the back is falling apart. Guess that what glue is for

Good quality.If it’s not obvious to you, these boots are waterproof, which means they don’t breathe great. Feet get really warm. Great for winter, but I’m guessing they’ll be uncomfortable when weather gets warmer.Overall, very satisfied for use as winter boots.

Good boots. I bought them without much time for break in before a hiking trip. Hiked about 70 miles in them over a week. They were great. Comfy, supportive, and waterproof when hiking through some sloppy snow and mud. Weak point was the laces, but really that's minor. Color wasn't quite what I expected. I ordered the olive color, but they are pretty much black. Very very dark. Good boots though. I've never worn keens before, but really like these. Woild definitely order again.

Its a great shoe and very comfortable. I would give it 5 star rating if there wasn't for the shoe tie problem. Those metal threads wear and break shoe ties very quickly. Be prepared to change shoe tie every 10 days. I only use these shoes when I'm out on a hike or go to the mountains and I already went trough 6-7 shoe ties.

Amazing boots all around. Great grip in rough paths. Water proof 100%. Very comfortable, nice spring to your walk. Almost like walking downhill. Pricey but worth it. Definitely for trails and not worksites. Not steel toe even tho they look like it. Very slippery on wet lumber. Don't do it lol. I ordered the wrong ones but keeping them and ordered the right work boots 🤪
