I love this item! Very handy and quick. I’m not sure why but it is listed as Aerosol on the product details 🤷🏻‍♀️. I had to double check it! Anyway, great product!

I have tried expensive sprays, the L'Oréal spray and other products. Do not use a spray unless you have a massive area to cover. This is by far the BEST and easiest tool to cover gray. You can cover specific areas without spraying your entire part. I see gray only after 2 weeks but I will not pay for base color every two weeks.This is the way to go.

I specifically use this product for my front edges. It is a quick application, that blends in perfectly with my black hair and is not messy at all. I will never go back to the spray as you can never quite perfect where it lands, no matter how hard you try. I would have given this a 5-star review but lately, it seems like L’Oréal is scaling back and/or discontinuing Black, which is an issue for me. I hope they will rectify this, else I will need to find another option and don't really want to.

My wife bought this product for her gray hair. It works great to cover up gray hair for her. It is quick and easy to use. Make quick and easy task of concealing unwanted gray hair. Great for quick touch ups in between beauty salon visits. She loves it and has purchased a number of times.

So, this product DOES do what it says. In fact, it holds up somewhat even after a wash (which can be good or bad depending on how you feel about the product once it's applied). It's super easy to apply and target exactly where you want it, so much better than sprays. So there's the good news.The bad news, as other reviewers have stated, it's very sticky and stiff once applied. And it looks unnaturally dark. I decided to go with a lighter shade next time but it just doesn't seem available so I'm not sure whether I'll get it again. I ended up rubbing the area thoroughly with a wet rag immediately after applying it just to make it look a little more natural. It didn't remove all the color and it did help with the over-dark look.Overall, I'd say this is great for an emergency situation but I am not going to make it a regular part of my coloring routine. Unfortunately I've reached that stage of gray where the gray roots show significantly earlier than I ought to be re-coloring, so I do need to find a good in-between solution.

From the product description, I was hoping that I would like this concealer since I use other L'Oreal hair products. Not so. First I found it difficult to control the amount of gel that the tube dispenses. Once I was able to figure out how to apply the gel, the product left a sticky residue on my hair and made my hair stiff and gooey. The concealer didn't look natural at all.

Great product. It covers the gray without leaving a mess on your hands or scalp. Twist Apply and Go.
