Prime Products 18-3040 5/8" Cam Lock

I needed to replace a custom lock on my sprinkler controls box. The tolerances are very tight. I was able to remove the old latch and place it on this cylinder. I had purchased a different lock at first but the size of the screw prevented me from being able to close the cover all the way. I have had much better luck with this one. Easy to install, and use.

This is a replacement lock for a truck tool box. I didn't get the key for the box when I bought my truck and it is cheaper to replace the complete lock than to do anything else. This way I get two keys and it fits my application perfectly.

. I needed a longer shaft for it to work for my camper, but is exactly as described.

It was everything it was advertised to be. Quality wise it was just as good or better than the ones at the local hardware store but 3 dollars cheaper.

Had to modify the locking bar a bit to make it work with my file cabinet, but it works well

using it on my trailer I tow behind my bike works great. anyone with a tag along can use this
