I was looking for a good ketone supplement and this fits the bill. When I take it on an empty stomach, after about 30 minutes, I have no sense of hunger and it gives me energy. Great for a Keto Diet. Keeps calories down so it is perfect for those who want to lose weight, makes your brain clearer because the ketones give the brain fuel, and of course, helps manage blood sugar. Price is good for this high quality supplement. It also helps build repair muscle. This is a win win. Only drawback is that it has a bitter after take. So I mix it into some low carb coconut almond creamer and it dissolves easily. Then I drink the mixture quickly and I am all set. I had to learn what to expect from it by looking up info on the internet. It was easy. I much recommend this product.

This is a top quality product, period. 2 scoops completely dissolves in my 50 oz water bottle once shaken. Not even once have I gotten clumps, grit, or any unpleasant texture. At first I noticed a slight metallic taste, but it has either dissipated or I have gotten use to the taste. It wasn't unpleasant; just not what I was use to. I mix 2 scoops with 3 g of creatine, and 3 true lime packs in 50 oz of water. I have noticed increased recovery from workouts. I use to only be able to do heavy compounds (deadlifts, squats, bench press) once a week due to being so sore. After a week of using this I have made crazy strength gains, and I feel like I am able to attack a muscle group again after 48 hours of recovery, regardless of hard I hit the muscle. All in all this will be added to my daily regime as it is just too good.

(4.5) Ive only been taking for a couple weeks so I can’t really speak about results. But it seems to be a really good value and I hope to experience some noticable differences soon. I’ve been eating in a deficit and very low carb with high protein and have also been working out regular. Definitely losing weight and gaining muscle. I’ve tried the powder just dumped from the scoop onto my tongue and it’s pretty bitter. But mixed with 10+ ounces of liquid it’s barely noticeable. It’s a very fine powder and the scoop is very short so my hands are always getting covered. Easiest to leave the scoop on top of the container rather that tossing it in after each use. Much neater that way

We’ve been using Nutricost HMB powder for a couple of years. I’m 56, work at a desk in an office, and have very little time for exercise right now. I’m concerned about age related sarcopenia, plus I’m dieting to lose weight and don’t want to lose the little muscle I have. I scan my muscle mass monthly at my doctor’s office and I credit the daily HMB for my skeletal muscle mass increasing slightly despite my weight loss. Great stuff, I mix it in my protein shake and it is tasteless.My only complaint is Nutricost switched to a shorter scoop late last year and we didn’t keep one of the longer ones. Now we have to put our fingers down into the container to scoop the powder out and it’s an annoyance. Please bring back the longer scoop!

My doctor recommended me to take this. I started taking this and it helps as I have noticed gains in the gym and a slight reduction in the stubborn belly fat. The HMB powder mixes well in cold water and has a slight sodium taste but not bad tasting. Before taking this, I did some online research and found very few negatives. I take 3g of HMB in 6 oz of cold water, it mixes well or you can mix it in a smoothie or another drink. I'm glad I started taking this and would recommend it to anyone who might be considering it. Good price and delivered when stated.

I purchased this HMB based on reviews. The item arrived quickly upon ordering. However, I was disappointed that the scoop was not in the canister. I dug, dug, dug, and still there was no scoop. It is already frustrating when you have to dig for the scoop in some of these products, but when you dig, dug, dig, and there is still no scoop, I tell myself, "I won't be buying this one next time." Regarding energy level, pain relief, and other benefits, it is still new as it just arrived yesterday. It has no smell and it would be easy to use if it had a scoop.

Unlike others, I think it dissolves very easily! I fill my glass with room temperature water, drop in a scoop, and it almost dissolves on its own. In fact, I think it’s rather fun to watch the little balls dance around on top of the water as they dissolve. I help it a long with a quick little stir and it’s ready to drink. Often I start with a small amount of water, add HMB powder, swirl the glass, and add more water to drink. EASY!As for taste, it doesn’t taste bad. Tastes kinda like spring water to me. Add more water if you don’t like the taste. I use about 10 ounces of room temp water and it’s fine to me.It’s too early to tell if I’m growing muscle but it does seem to lessen my appetite. I did not purchase it for that reason, I just seem to notice not being as hungry throughout the day as I usually am.
