Sturdy cans with thick walls
We finally broke these out to use when hurricane Ian was heading to Florida. We took them over to Wawa and filled the 4 of them up with no ethanol gas and some fuel stabilizer. The cans were easy to fill, easy to lift and maneuver, and best of all the little indentation on the bottom made it easy to pour the gas out. My husband has never owned a plastic gas can after having a poor experience with one years and years ago, but the metal jerry cans were just getting too expensive and were too heavy when full of gas. He has been very pleased with these.

Out of the box, they all leaked
Before using the cans for real, I tested for leaks by filling them 3/4 with water, tightened up all the fittings and laid them on their sides. It only took a few seconds for them all to begin leaking at the can to spout junction.I sanded the tops of the cans smooth to remove the high spots from the manufacturing process and they work much better, but still not perfect. Two of the spouts still leak, but it’s at the end of the nozzle so doesn’t really matter as long as you keep them upright. However I did have one can that didn’t have a continuous vent hole. I had to drill through the vent at an angle into the can to make it work. So now basically the cans work, but they needed some TLC to get them there. If I had to do it over again I would keep sending them back until they managed to send me 4 cans that worked right out of the box.If you haven’t bought the curved plastic pieces to put a bend in the spouts, I suggest you do that also, makes it much easier to pour where you’re aiming.

Couple leak a little.
Used all 4 so far, couple dont seal just perfect but good enough for what I need and they were cheap compared to everyone else. Gonna use them till there dead.

Solid, but lids will leak unless you touch up the rims
Great size, solid, easy to use. I found that all four would not seal tight unless I filed down some extra plastic around the rim of the container. Not a big deal, but a miss by quality control.

Great “Fluid” Transport Cans…with slight modification.
Arrived on time as expected. Out of the box all four leaked even when tightened significantly. As other reviewers have mentioned, the o ring doesn’t seal well when the neck of the container isn’t smooth. All of the containers had some defects that I was able to easily sand down with a wide file. Took about two minutes per container. You can test without fluid by compressing the sides and listening at lid for air whistling sound. When you have a good deal the container will feel stiff with no air leak.Still giving five stars because I have other cans like this and they have worked flawlessly for me. Hose will crack after about 6mo if exposed to elements, but a higher quality hose from the hardware store with some hose clamps will make it better than new. 5 gallon containers that you can squeeze 6 gal into.
