I bought two other brands which were a higher lumen output and more expensive, only to return them because of overheating. I had the TC1200 from a few years ago and it never overheated so I went with the TC1200 Pro, and I'm glad I did. The TC1200 Pro does get warm, but you can still hold it. I suppose these days it's just the nature of the beast that tactical flashlights get warm after several minutes. I wish these had a USB charging port, but it's not a deal breaker. Also the clip is strictly meant for pocket carry only.. it would've been nice to have a dual directional clip so you can clip it to a hat visor and use it hands free. The other feature I like, is you can use the rechargeable battery, or 3 AAA alkaline batteries. The 1Tac is not as expensive as the other 2 brands I tried and you couldn't focus the beam. It did arrive 2 days later than originally promised. The hardshell case it comes is nice, and well presented.

I like this little flashlight. I even use it in the kitchen to see in cabinets.

I love everything about this light with the exception of not being able to charge the battery inside the light, it has to be removed to charge, but even that's ok. IT'S A REALLY GREAT LITE.

Great light, went to order another one 3 days later and price went up 25 bucks, it’s good but not worth another 25 bucks 3 days later, guess if price goes back down I’ll get another one

Very useful gift

Bought this for my husband and he loves it.

Received this as a gift and it is incredible. It lights up a very wide area when the bezel is retracted and is even more impressive when the bezel is extended, focusing the beam for farther away. My stepdad bought it for me and bought one for himself as well. He is a deer hunter and said he can see 100yds down his lane with this light. Very nice light with very practical accessories. Haven’t exhausted the battery yet, so I can’t speak to it’s longevity, but having a rechargeable battery included is a nice bonus. Very impressed with this light!

As an HVAC contractor I rely on flashlights and portable lighting regularly. Anything LED always outlast and performs any thing. The CREE LEDs on this flashlight are truly superior! The rechargeable Battery has great longevity and does well. I haven’t used the standard battery insert yet but I’m sure they’re like any other but from what the specs say the rechargeable battery included gives a higher output so I’ll continue to use until I need the other.Casing is heavy duty and strong, the spot light just the same is very precise.Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quality torch that will take a beating daily and continue to perform like new!

I have received a rather cheap plastic torch, with no batteries except the special size rechargeable one. This neede to be charged.It would help if the correct UK 3pin plug is included.If Xmas was not so close I would be returning the item.Overall impression is that the quality does not match the price. and the item appears to be cheap and shoddy.

the rpice was 50 % lower that the 1Tac website and they did not mail out to Canadathanks Amazonmy only idssue is with the case , the box does no close properly plastic too soft and does not snap latch properly I needed to put a rubber band around it so the box would stay closed
