Not the shoe it used to be.
I own 5 pairs of THIS STYLE shoe. The first I got locally. I loved them but locally they didn't carry COLORS. So I ordered online. First pair I ordered were great! Second pair a little tight, but good. Third pair...a little large and not quite the same materials. Fourth pair was dissapointing...ordered the same size and got a too large shoe. I thought it was my error but when I reordered the pair I kept was too large. I should have stopped then. I waited and now I really could use a new shoe. So I figured maybe it was a fluke...but I was wrong. It angers me that a product that I loved is now so poorly made that I cannot order my previously proven size and get a good fitting shoe. Would someone please tell me how a 9 is no longer a 9? I am very disappointed in the Merrell company today. I used to look for and buy their products because of the way they held up and fit my feet, but now I will be looking for another shoe locally. I will likely NOT look at Merrells anymore. It is really sad that this shoe is not made with the same pattern and quality as it used to be. I am done with Merrells. Sad that I can't get this shoe anymore. I wish the company would pay attention to this issue. To the Merrell company: YES. THE CONSUMER DOES NOTICE WHEN YOU GO TO A CHEAPER PRODUCTION AND CHANGE YOUR STANDARDS!!!!

Rare Q2 for those who find the Breeze 3 unwearable.
I have worn the Merrell Encore Breeze for years; I have probably owned at least 8 pair and usually have a 'good pair' and a pair for the garden or beach at any one time. Then a year or two ago they dramatically changed the shoe design with the Encore Breeze 3 and it is uncomfortable, stiff, poorer quality and narrow in the heel. I cannot wear it without blisters and have given away the ones I bought; I hope some homeless person at the shelter will find the brand new shoe comfortable for their foot. I don't have wide feet and am really disappointed such a comfortable shoe was redesigned for no good reason; a lot of reviews on line echo my experience. So I was thrilled to find someone who still has the Q2 an earlier design that fits perfectly. I can wear these for 10 miles on the pavements of Paris without foot issues. They are comfortable from the moment they go on; no breaking in required. They are well cushioned but don't look like athletic shoes. High fashion they aren't, but they are fine as basic walking shoes, especially with pants and of course easy at airport check in since they slide on and off. Great shoe and if you liked the Encore Breeze, grab these while they are still available.

Doesn't fit and cannot get company to respond so I can return
These shoes are not the same as the Merrells from several years ago. They are much more narrow. My foot is wide. I need to return these shoes that do not fit but there were no instructions in the package on how to return. Last week I emailed and asked Amazon to help. I'm still waiting for a response. I am one unhappy customer. In addition to not fitting correctly, the new Merrells are not as well made as the old ones. The contours are not ergonomicallly designed to cradle your foot the way the old ones did.

Comfortable walking shoe. Stink like RUBBER
This is much closer to the Merrells that were sold for years. Fit and comfort really good.I am trying to change my review from a 5 star to a 3, could even be a 2. They stink like RUBBER!!! 2 people have noticed and mentioned it to me. Have placed in the sun, sprayed. They are sitting in my garage with the leather pair I bought, which also smells like rubber. The mesh much worse than the leather. So disappointing.

Fit as expected, very comfortable!
I absolutely adore these shoes. I usually wear a half-size larger than normal (I'm a 9, so usually get a 9.5 in Merrell's) but I accidentally ordered a 9 - well, I figured I would see how much they stretched after one wear, and these are PERFECT. I didn't even realize they were on my feet, and for them being clogs, they don't flip-flop at times like some other clogs I own - they stay put on my heel. Very glad I kept these and didn't return them - I'll be ordering another pair to keep in the car for sure!

Sized wrong (possibly); bad chemical odor
Q2 doesn't fit as well as my other Encores; the left one feels smaller than the right, both seem 1/2 size smaller than an 7.5 Wide shoe. Plus, both shoes have a bad, bad chemical smell emanating from them, possibly from the dye? Bought the lighter blue color.

... I'm standing all day in surgery and am so happy with how they've worked out- my foot
I bought these for when I'm standing all day in surgery and am so happy with how they've worked out- my foot, knee, and back pain have substantially decreased. The breathable material is great to keep your feet from sweating all day. One caveat: I would not recommend mesh shoes for messier surgeries. Otherwise, great shoe for the OR!

Not like the old Merrells
I bought these because my old Merrell's are the only thing I can wear with my planters fasciitis and bone spur . I'm on my feet 8-12 hrs. a day at work and the only thing I have been able to wear is an old pair o f Merrell's with the fur lining (not sure which model they are) so with the nicer weather here I wanted to try these hoping they would have the same comfort and support as my old Merrell's. Unfortunately these are no where near the same quality. I can only wear these for about an hour before my feet start killing me. If you have any type on foot issues I wouldn't recommend these. If you have healthy feet they may be okay. They are cute shoes...I wish I could wear them

Not the quality they used to be!
I have been wearing Merrell encore breeze and similar for about 20 years. However, in this country it is very difficult tobuy them at a reasonable price. I see them on Amazon at £150 odd and to be honest with you, they are not worth that money. They used to be very hardwearing, the first pair I found lasted 3 years, being worn nearly every day .Nowadays, you are lucky if they last 3 months. A typical example of price going up and quality going down. I wear them because they keep my feet open to the air, I need this for comfort. I used to be able to buy winter and summer models, the winter ones were leather or suede and they kept my feet warm. Now, I cannot even buy them. From a very disappointed Merrell customer in England.

The Quality is not as it used to be
I have been wearing these slip on casuals for 15 years, and have always found them very comfortable. However, in the last two years, the quality of the shoe has declined, and they do not last as they used to.

Solid Shoe. Especially for Orthotic Inserts
Very well constructed shoe. I ordered these to fit my custom made orthotics. I have a significantly painful bunion and sore hips so was recommended indoor shoes to also use with an orthotic and these shoes save me a load of pain at the end of the day living in a hardwood flooring home. One thing however is it’s got quite some height to the heel and overall sole. Be warned that may take some getting used to again if you’re largely using the shoe for medical purposes as I do. Very comfortable shoe but can feel quite warm with a full orthotic despite the mesh top but tolerable.

Long wait ... width option not mentioned
It took weeks, weeks and weeks to receive my pair of Merrells. I don't usually buy wearable items online, because I can't try them for fit. But since I was buying with the info provided by my current pair of Merrells, I wasn't worried. Well, I should have worried, because the new Merrells came with a label giving not only the "Male/Female" and "Size", but also "Medium". This suggests to me that there are additional size options that I should have been made aware of, both by Merrells (one my current pair), and by the Amazon vendor. I shuold definitely have tried to get "Large" (i.e., "Wide"), because I can hardly get my feet into the new pair, and will have to find a way to stretch them, or wait until I'm 110 years old and somewhat shrunken to be able to wear them comfortably. Moral of my story? No more online purchases of wearables! Ask for an exchange? That would probably take a year!
