Get more potassium in your diet!
Use this in place of NaCl in the table salt shaker. Potassium is needed in the diet in quantities much greater than the majority of Americans ingest. Pure KCl is far tastier than the various "salt substitutes" including NuSalt. Good value as well

I take 5.4gs a day mixed with my creatine drink.
Still on my first bag but I've noticed the difference in my health.

Potassium Deficiency Was the Hidden Cause — Life-Changing Discovery
For a long time, I struggled with a range of troubling symptoms: high blood pressure, tingling in my feet and arms, swelling in my feet, and persistent ringing in my ears. After digging into the possible causes, I discovered something shocking — according to the National Institutes of Health, the recommended daily intake of potassium for adults is 3,400 mg.I realized I wasn’t even coming close to that amount(1200mg) tops. So, I decided to take a safe, gradual approach and began supplementing with 3,000 mg of potassium per day. The results have been nothing short of amazing. My blood pressure started returning to normal. The tingling in my limbs completely disappeared.Swelling in my feet is gone. The ringing in my ears is slowly fading. This experience taught me that potassium deficiency is often overlooked but can cause serious symptoms. Increasing my intake made a profound difference in my health and well-being. I encourage anyone dealing with similar issues to speak with a healthcare professional and explore whether potassium could be a missing piece of the puzzle. CAUTION: Many doctors are ignorant and seem to overlook this, even if blood tests come back with low potassium, many just prescribe medication for high blood pressure.

Absolutely Great value!!
So I purchased this potassium supplement because I have chronic cramping in 5 muscle groups and after evaluating my diet and finding I am severely potassium deficient with a diet containing at best 20% recommended dv.Bananas are cheap but its a chore to eat 12 bananas per day, sweet potatoes are cheap as well but Im not gonna eat 8 or 9 sweet potatoes in a day either as they have to much starch. I ordered some 595mg supplement only to find out I would need to take like half the bottle per day to even come close to my recommended dv with my diet.So I ordered this, Just took 3 grams (3000mg) on my first day and plan to work up to more. 3g should yield about 98% bioavailability in the body giving me 14.7% Daily Value in that serving. What a great value! Much more convenient than buying it myself and dealing with a lab chemical supplier. That being said you absolutely NEED to talk to your doctor before you supplement potassium and should not be taking OTC Potassium without a doctors supervision if you have ANY heart or blood pressure problems.Hyperkalemia, (too much potassium in the blood) can literally make you have a heart attack and kill you dead very fast (minutes) so please use responsibly and take great care before using this supplement.DO NOT take doses of 3 Grams or dose more than stated on the container unless you truly do your research and know what you are doing. I have degrees in science and biology, so I know exactly what I am doing so don't copy me.

Scale reommended for dosage
I love being able to buy this product in bulk. However, i was confused on much of the packaging as far as converting milligrams to teaspoons, and it is not always clear.

Potassium Chloride vs Potassium Citrate
I buy / use / recommend both this product (potassium chloride) as well as potassium citrate. They taste and react differently in foods and have different purposes in the body.DIETARY USE:If you are looking to use this as a dietary supplement, there is some further investigating you might consider so please see the warning* below.Suggested dietary usage of potassium supplements:1.) Potassium Chloride (KCl) is a form of potassium for people who have low levels of potassium (hypokalemia). It dissolves easily in water and is used as a salt substitute.2.) Potassium Citrate is an alkalizing agent. It's medicinal use is for when your urine is too acidic, which may result in a mild urinary tract infection, such as cystitis which is when your doctor may prescribe potassium citrate. Because of it's alkalinity, an ideal use for potassium citrate is to mix it with lemonade, which will make the drink a bit smoother in an enjoyable way. This ingredient is often added to commercial beverages for this benefit.*WARNING: If your bloodwork does not consistently indicate low potassium (K) levels, you may want to request a second draw. It is actually commonplace to get a false-positive test in potassium deficiency based on the method of the blood draw. (Example: New phlebotomists often use a butterfly needle for their own ease, will commonly get a false-low potassium read - common in the elderly with more difficult veins to draw from).GARDENING:For use in gardening, potassium chloride is the purest form of Potash, which is the 3rd number on any fertilizer blend formula (example: 8-4-12). Because potassium raises the pH of your soil, it is especially beneficial for plants that like more alkaline soils like artichokes, tomatillos, collards, arugula, and broccoli. Potassium chloride rapidly dissolves in soil water and is highly concentrated, so check you soil pH often and adjust gradually. Please click "yes" if this review was helpful! Thanks!

Great sodium substitute – tastes just like salt!
I’ve been using this potassium chloride powder as a full substitute for regular salt, and it’s amazing. It tastes almost identical to sodium salt and works perfectly in cooking, seasoning, and even on things like popcorn or eggs.If you’re trying to control your sodium intake without sacrificing flavor, this is the way to go. Just use it the same way you’d use table salt. Highly recommend for anyone watching their blood pressure or following a low-sodium diet.
