Lisle 63900 Window Holder

This is probably one of the simplest tools I've ever used. The price was reasonable, it would have been a little cheaper if I ordered it from our local auto parts. I would have had to wait longer then shipping from Amazon. I needed it asap. Thank you

I used these to hold the window up while changing a regulator. They worked.

I use this to hold up auto glass when repairing auto doors and replacing power window motors and regulators. Just make sure glass is clean before using and moisten suction cups a bit.

I bought this 2 years ago to assist with replacing a window regulator/motor. Luckily my window was stuck in the "up" position when the motor failed, so I only needed these suction things to hold the glass during the actual part replacement. Recently the passenger side regulator failed (it's an older car and to be expected). This time the window was stuck down and my car is parked outside in the open... and it was the middle of the night... and it started pouring rain. UGH! After some troubleshooting I got the glass lifted and grabbed these to hold it up while I waited for the part. Ideally they are meant for use during your repair, but they held on with great suction thru beating sun and heavy rains for over a week. Worked just as great for replacing the regulator and motor too!

Beats using duct tape to hold the window up while replacing regulators or servicing inside door panels. Ya, you can use duct tape, I did for a long while. But this simple cheap tool is a must have for your tool box.

Anyone who has done window regulators before knows the fun of trying to tape the window glass in place so you can change the regulator. This handy Lisle tool eliminates the need for tape and takes very little time to use since each tool is just 2 suction cups connected by a cable. Stick one side on, bring cable over the door and stick the other side on and repeat for the other one included in the package. Once both tools are firmly pressed onto the window glass you can easily disconnect the regulator without having to have someone hold the glass or tape the window in place. Done countless Chevrolet Cruze window regulators among others with no issues and even convinced a few more people to buy this tool after seeing me use it.So whether you turn wrenches for a living or simply need to replace a bad window regular on your own vehicle, it's well worth picking up this inexpensive window holder tool before doing your next window regulator.
