Pretty Cool Replicas
These are not professional quality replicas, but they are very nice. I've attached some photos so you can see them closer. They are 1:1 scale, which is nice (the largest is the Carcharodontosaurus claw). They are painted nicely and the resin is pretty solid quality. The only disappointing part is the poster. In the thumbnail, it looks like the poster would be packed with info, but it's really just written in multiple languages. It only has basic info (when they were found, their taxonomy, size and diet). That's a little disappointing as most kids can already rattle off this info, but I didn't deduct any points because you're probably mostly buying it for the claws anyway, and those are awesome and fun.Overall, I don't think you'd be disappointed in these. They are actually pretty cool and you get a raptor claw so you can be like Sam Neil in Jurassic Park, "He doesn't bother to bite your jugular like a lion, say... no no. He slashes at you here, or here...or maybe across the belly, spilling your intestines. The point is, you are alive when they start to eat you. So you know, try to show a little respect."

Not a dig toy, which is a good thing!
This is a very cool educational dino claw set for any dinosaur fan. Which a lot of kids are! My son, 5, is currently going through a dinosaur obsession phase, but his sisters (10 and 7) were equally impressed by these realistic looking dinosaur claw replicas. It comes with an informational booklet, and it's fun to learn about the different claws and their respective dinosaurs. This set would make an excellent gift for any dino fan in your life, and also is a nice addition to our homeschool room where we like to keep a lot of these fun but educational toys. Kids also love little trinkets and treasures like these, and "real" (looking) dinosaur claws are highly sought after treasures for little ones.I'm glad it's just a nice little "museum" set and not a gimmicky thing you have to "dig" out. I'd rather them pay attention to details and education than to focus on the dirt they come in. Definitely recommended, excellent gift!

Decent Quality Reproductions
My oldest son went through a major dino stage that focused on Velociraptors. He has a number of high quality museum reproductions that he treasures and has made into a nice little museum type display, so I thought he would love these. I can't say that he loves them but he definitely enjoyed receiving them. Most are pretty good repros except for the largest claw that does look a little less realistic than the others. He did enjoy bringing out his raptor and dino knowledge and tell us about each and he is displaying them near his display case, but said they aren't quite good enough to join the display collection. He said it was probably 4 out of 5 stars and that any younger dino fan would love these.

OMG The THRILLS this delivered!
Our granddaughter is a fossil fanatic, especially dinosaur fossils. At age 8, she's a bit young to invest in the real deal yet. This was the PERFECT compromise. They aren't delicate. They ARE museum quality reproductions, and they offer all the thrills and chills in a sturdier mode that doesn't put expensive real fossils in danger of damage. It's sent her imagination flying. She treasures those replicas as if they were the real deal, with only momentary disappointment that they weren't "real" fossils.
