I tore my Salomon Bonatti running jacket - it's made of Clima Pro material. Only a small tear - almost looked like a scalpel blade had gone through it. A tear/rip of just over a centimetre. Anyway I needed it fixed and was going to buy Goretex repair stuff or send it away to get fixed and then found this stuff.I used it on the inside and you can't tell it's there from the outside. You can only just see it on the inside - you can see from the photo. If you look at it straight on it is nigh on invisible, I angled the material so that the light would reflect off it otherwise you would struggle to see where the tape was.Only time will tell how well it will cope with normal rubbing and sweat build up inside my jacket, but I'm expecting good things based on other reviews.

Works a treat. My tent is 7 years old and has taken a battering with the weather in that time, and as a result has a few small holes and a tear to it.This tape is fabulous. It's easy to cut and apply to the holes and tears on the outer tent (I applied the tape to the inside of the outer tent so it's discreet). It seems to stick very well, and time will tell if it can stand up to the challenging weather I'll be taking my tent in.Only downside is that it is very expensive for the small amount you get, so I've knocked a star off my review for that. However, if it keeps up to it's claims that it's virtually indestructible, then I will deem it a worthy investment and a success :-)I now keep the rest in my tent repair kit pouch and hopefully I will never need to use it again.

I fixed a bunch of holes in different fabrics and it works. Some of the patches has been there for about 2-3 years and they still hold, e.g. I have a patch on a soft backpack that I use almost every other day.Once I had to use it on a portable 10l plastic water canister and the patched managed to hold all the water pressure.The only downside is that the sides of the roll got a bit unstuck and filled with micro-dirt from all the time I took the roll with me. But it is a no brainer, I just cut extra 2-3mm from the side and then I have a decent patch.

I used this tape to repair waterproof clothing that has torn on wire and brambles. It sticks well to the fabric and lasts a long time- I have patches that are still stuck on after years of use and washing. I prefer this to using tougher duct tape because it is thinner and more flexible and is ideal on areas of fabric which are constantly being flexed - such as knees and arms. Duct tape on the other hand while being strong and thick is too rigid and tends to bunch up and form gaps. Great product.

This is an initial impressions review which I shall update later if there's anything worth noting. I got this tape to repair a lightweight nylon Barbour jacket, which I washed and spun despite the clear instructions not to spin(!).......resulting in a sort of stress tear on the underside of one of the arms near the seam. I cut a piece of tape roughly 5" x 3" and rounded off the corners and applied it. Seems to have stuck well, appears flexible but only time will tell how long it lasts. The matt finish means it doesn't show too much. A good thing is that the tape comes on a roll rather than folded, so you don't get distortions in the tape before you use it. It is expensive for the amount you get, but if it lives up to the spiel and means you can repair expensive kit effectively then it'll be worth it. Next day delivery with Prime means you're up and running again quickly. I've given it 5 stars because there's no reason not to at this stage......time will tell.

This stuff is excellent, used it to repair a down jacket several times, the fix will be visible but that’s no easy ask. What I can say is the fix will last a long time and is very easy to do, just cut out a piece the size you want and press it down, go nice and slow and you shouldn’t have any problems. I carry a piece in my outdoor kit for repairs whilst I’m out in the field.

This stuff is absolutely BRILLIANT!! It was originally purchased to repair a small tear in my partner's down jacket, has since also repaired 2 backpacks, my wallet, a glove, a wetsuit, my waterproof jacket, our fly screen door and a number of other things... And there's still half a roll left!! A fantastic product, brilliant value, and I won't hesitate to add a roll to our camping kit in the spring! Cannot recommend highly enough!

This saved my running jacket. And then my cycling jacket. And then my tent.I've had a tear in my running jacket for ages and kept meaning to repair it but couldn't find what I wanted/needed. I tried a couple of other tapes etc but none really did the job. Then I stumbled across this. Wow. It does the job for sure. I've since used it for a similar repair on another jacket and my tent!
