The identity of the vampires is apt and hilarious. The story weaves together genres and tones effortlessly. One of my favorites.

The Blue Bloods series had made a profound impact on me. I too am a writer, and the series inspired me. I love the merging of vampires and fallen angels, those are my favorites. The innocence and curiosity of Schuyler, the beauty and conflicts of Jack, the arrogance and narcissism of Mimi, the mystery occult within the coma of Gabriel and the threat and danger of the Silver Bloods make of it a delicious treat! The forbidden love between Schuyler and Jack gives it a romantic touch, but the action of the Silver Bloods gives the story an edge. Plus, the whole concept about vampires being the angels that fell along with Lucifer makes it very interesting. The author tried to portrait the story in a very "plausible" way, she tried for it to "make sense". So she mixes real events, manipulating them so they can fit into the story, and uses them as a sort of background. The story is captivating, exciting and addictive. The first book,though, is a little boring at the beginning; I even considered stop reading it, but I kept reading and the story reached its excitement. After that, I was completely engrossed. I could not put it down, for it captured my imagination and took it for a thrilling ride. I've read the books multiple times, just so I can go for the ride again and again;and I don't accustom to read books for a second time. Yet I believe the series is not for everyone who doesn't have this particular taste within their range of preferences. Nevertheless, the magic of the books is there for our personal enjoyment, one just has to know if it suits our personal taste.

was first suspicious of buying this set because the first book and how it started was not so interesting. However, when you get past the descriptive part of the first book then the plot and the characters started to reveal and it was more interesting. It is not like a twilight story but similar.This writer is obviously expert in high society, latest fashion and culinary expert of five-start-restaurants. She can describe the world of a high class teenagers and adults believably and you get a clear image of their rich lives and what money can buy.It also describes the ruthlessness of the rich and powerful vampires, immortals, and how they look down on their human red blood companions. Not all of them, of course, but many.As usual, there are good and evil fighting, and teenage romance in the air.Maybe the most intersting twist in this series is that these vampires are being hunted and killed even if they are rich and powerful and this 'hunt' has happened before, many times in fact, but it does not happen all the time. It has made the vampires believe that maybe the hunters are gone for ever, until it happens again.I would recommend this series for someone who likes fashion, culinary tidbits, a bit of a vampire and teenage romance.

Although Shipping took a while for being two states away. Also I expected the 'Blue Bloods Box set' to be shipped & handled In a Box, Instead of just a Plastic Shipping bag with no protection. Other than that, I'm am Very Pleased! I Understand Why the Seller said 'Acceptable' but its More Used/Good, because 'Acceptable' makes the item sound as if it is in Bad condition & It wasn't, Only the Slipcase was. I Think the condition on the Slipcase was because of the Shipping&Handling, that's why all the corners of the Slipcase are all Bumped and Bruised up, or if the seller had the Box set already in that condition, I'm not quite sure. Otherwise the Item itself was Brand New! Still in its Original Plastic Wrapping & the Books were in Flawless Condition! Very Very Happy about that! and For a Cheap Price as well? I think my money was Well spent, and Saved alot! Thank you.

`Blue Bloods' is a nice series. The author is skilled in twisting and weaving the characters and the tangled web of events. The love interest in the series is an intriguing forbidden love relationship, but weak in detail and lacks enough interaction between the two characters. The end of book four leads the reader to believe this relationship will be the focus of the coming book and I'm looking forward in hope.If you're looking for a vampire series this is a great one, but if you're like me and love the supernatural romance this series is probably not the one to go with.

I love this vampire series! It is the best I have read in a long time. Very original. The characters are believable. The plot is strong. The books are written so the story flows perfectly. No confusing parts. Great read!

So far, I love this series. The only thing I don't like is all the unnecessary detail to all the fashion like brands and what-not. Me personally, I'd love more physical and verbal interactions between characters and less attention on what each person is wearing. A lot of it was jibberish to me lol but overall, I love this series.

Another interesting take on the vampire genre that is so popular right now: instead of immortality within the same vampire body, the Blue Bloods only "live" in a body for one human lifetime and then are re-born into a new life - if they choose to come back. If they are re-born, they aren't fully aware of who they were until "the change" happens at which time memories start to come back. The characters are interesting in their own right, and I'm looking forward to finding out what exactly happened to Schuyler's mom, what took place between Charles Force, Jack Force and Gabrielle, and where things will end up with Schuyler and Jack Force.
