Zoo Med Natural Box Turtle Food, 20-Ounce

My Eastern Box Turtle despises greens and veggies so I use this pellets on the days he becomes stubborn. I crush them up into a powder and coat his night crawlers with them. He doesn’t mind the taste. I like the ingredients much more over the other brand like Rep cal which is loaded with corn. This has endive, escarole, and multiple fruits/veggies. Plus he gets the much needed fiber he needs.

Turtle eats it when it’s stuck to other foods she likes, like fruit or flowers. I soak it, mash it up, and mix everything together. I’m happy she’s getting a healthy diet.

Good product at a better price than the pet stores

Neither my ornate box turtle or my eastern box turtle really went for this but it may be because they are just coming out of hibernation. Maybe in a few months they will eagerly gobble it up. 🐢

Could just be her, she is spoiled but she likes the colored ones better. Maybe it's the absence of fruit.
