Geekpure 10-inch Inline Mineral Water Filter Upgrade for Reverse Osmosis System-1/4"

Great product. Easy to install as most of the products on the market but after i decided to install this filter my purified water taste become much more pleasant and nicer. Go for it.

I added the remineralizing filter after the ro membrane, right before the holding tank so the ro water is at it's slowest rate while seeping through the mineral medium. I also mount my tank with the valve at the bottom (using a cut-off top of a 3 gallon plastic bucket with hole drilled for the tube). This takes much weight off the diaphragm since the water remains on the bottom, and I believe will prolong the life of the tank assembly by preventing the bulging diaphragm from scrubbing the inside of the tank. No sediment can build up on the tank diaphragm, and any sediment from the mineral filter will get caught by the finish carbon filter on it's way to the tap.

The taste was not the best.

This filter leaks around the fittings. I’ve tried several and none form a good seal around the inlet causing water to spray all over the place. Even wrapped the threads in Teflon tape and still no luck. Will need to request a refund and will hopefully go back to the iSpring remineralization filters when they have them back in stock.

I use an inline TDS meter to determine the performance of my system. I installed the sensors before and after this product. It doesn't detect any change at all. If mineral ions were actually being added in any appreciable amount, there should've been a change in the reading.

Not works as advertised.

Made in China and probably not safe to drink water from this plastic hunk of garbage. Very disappointed

replacement filter works fine and is easy to install
