Absolutely love these lightweight compact tarps. Perfect for spontaneous adventures, hiking, picnics and more. Very durable too and even machine washable. They keep everyone dry and comfy. Definitely recommend them!

I know a lot of reviews on Amazon come from people who received a product at a discount or even free. I paid full price for these blankets and am writing this review because they truly are awesome. I ordered two and will definitely be adding more a day gifting then to my friends and family. First off this blanket is actually water-PROOF, not just resistant. That is huge for me both in a camping/hiking/survival situation and also just for sitting around the campfire or at a concert. Most blankets soak through very quickly, not this one; it keeps me totally dry. I can use it as a shelter or rain fly if needed and I feel confident I will stay dry. Secondly I love the grommets for staking it down and also the sand pockets. These pockets are often overlooked but are actually very smart. I don't always have stakes on me, like out with the family or just around our firepit or at the beach, but if it's windy I can grab some rocks or sand and pack the sand pockets at each corner and viola, a sturdy windproof blanket virtually anywhere. If you like being outdoors for any reason, grab a couple of these. They pack down tiny and literally will fit in your pocket. Throw them in your hiking, hunting, school or beach bag.

I bought these for our band competitions. They fit 4-5 people on them and do not penetrate water through the ground like a blanket would. It rolls up into the carry bag easy, and clips to a backpack. I bought two for competition season so the kids have somewhere to sit down without getting their uniforms dirty. They are super light weight and take up very little room in my mom backpack.

I ordered the green beach blanket. It’s an ugly dark grey, with green triangles in the corners and a green stuff sack. It was much smaller than I thought , but it will do what I bought it for. It is light weight and doesn’t take up much room when in the stuff sack. It was hard to compress/fold small enough to get back in the sack. Can not stuff it in. Tried to fold along the deep creases left from the original folded form as it came out of the sack. Finally rolled the folded form I had managed and wedged it into the sack. It’s a thick plastic. More flexible than a harbor freight tarp, but about the same thickness. Should be able to shed sand and water. Good to lay out, but I wouldn’t want to cover with it. Will make a good waterproof barrier to lay down before covering it with a cloth blanket or towel. Rivets and flaps at the corners so it could be hung, or staked down, or fill the corner pockets with sand or rock to hold it down. Could even use the corners to secure the top blanket I would choose to use with it. I will use it backpacking. It’s small size and lightweight will be assets, and it will have many uses as a mini flexible tarp. Better than a sheet of plastic. It doesn’t make crinkling sounds. It’s too small to fit under a tent or sleeping bag, but I will find other uses for it.

This was probably one of the most useful pieces of equipment on our 3 day backpacking trip. After trekking through miles of mud, and no open grassy spot in site, we threw this down over some brush and tall grass to sit, rest and eat lunch right off the trail. Perfect size to throw down two 65 lb packs and two average (5’6-6’0) people. Highly durable, lightweight and waterproof. Also great to sit outside of tent door to put hiking shoes and wet clothes. Loved it so much, that I’m buying another to use for when we take the kiddos camping!

One of the best purchases I've made recently. So compact and easy to get back in the pouch. Also makes a good rain cover in a pinch. We use it every time we hike.

My boyfriend and I got this for festival season. We've taken it to one so far and it was great. Super easy to fold back into it's little pouch the blanket was perfect even on the wet ground as it rained the first two days of the festival. It seeps through a little bit but we stayed dry. It's not thick by any means but was exactly what we needed. We may bring a regular blanket to put on top in the future. If you just need a simple small tarp that is easy to travel with this is one is great.

Product looks nice. Have not used yet. Perfect size and includes a carabiner to hook to backpack. What's funny is the included scratch off that is basically a marketing tactic! I scratched mine and it says I have bonuses to claim worth $100. Hahaha....customer service is valued at $35, 2 years warranty valued at $40, and I don't remember what the other 'bonus' is. Basically, it subscribed me 'Pike Trail'. Had to include my email and phone # to even see what these 'said' bonuses were. I quickly unsubscribed! If you have a nice product, why have the need to reel your customers in to something else.

Ottimo telo multifunzione. Si può usare per il picnic, per la tenda, come riparo d'emergenza, in spiaggia, al parco, in montagna, per coprire il vano di carico di un fuoristrada, in barca ecc. Indispensabile se si hanno cani o bambini! Si lava facilmente in lavatrice (detersivo liquido delicato senza nient'altro, centrifuga max 400 giri, max 30 gradi, ciclo lana e delicati) e torna perfettamente pulito, pronto per la prossima uscita. Piccolo e compatto, munito di pratica borsettina coordinata e moschettone, perfetto da avere sempre con sè. Ho apprezzato davvero tantissimo gli occhielli sugli angoli (da usare con i picchetti per fissarlo al terreno o con un cordino per usarlo come riparo) e le tasche sugli angoli (si possono usare con sassi o sabbia per tenerlo fermo a terra o per conservare al riparo dal sole piccoli oggetti che non si vuole perdere). Davvero un ottimo prodotto, ben rifinito e ben progettato. Abbastanza leggero da averlo sempre con sè. Attenzione che non si tratta di un telo isolante ed è solo leggermente impermeabile, quindi se il terreno è freddo e bagnato sentirete ancora freddo e un po' di umidità passerà. Lo consiglio!

I've used this on camping trips in the arctic and amazon rainforest - it works well for that- quite light weight but heavy enough to be durable, not flap around too much in the wind and to cover a large enough area. I used it to change clothes on and arrange my stuff so it doesn't get lost on the forest floor. It would also work well as a small tarp, but I've not used it for that.
