They stayed in my hair well, without pulling or getting damaged. They seem easy to open, but feel strong enough not to fall out without deliberate removal. The colors of the clips make it easy to “color-code” specific sections and layers of hair (the colors look exactly the same as advertised). I have not used them with hair dye, but these work well for use while curling/straightening (and trimming bangs).

About two years ago, I ordered some clips like these from a different company on Amazon. They were OK but pretty flimsy. These are fabulous. They hold your hair firmly. I would recommend these to anyone.

Cute colors, arrive fast and work well.They are easy to use and hold a decent about of hair so you can work in sections. Daughter loves the bright colors. Makes doing braids easier. They don’t get tangled in her hair, they clip open easily and hold up well. I wish they’d last just a little longer but they can break (the hinges sometimes give out after a few uses.) made decent, not skimpy
