Works but should have been included with thermostat
Works fine although I think it should be included with the Stant Thermostat when you buy that since you need both. Other than that, it's working fine.

It seems ridiculous that you have to by a separate gasket when you get a thermostat, but here we are. It fit fine and no issues after installation

works great
fits my 2004 buick Lasbre 3.8 L. stant superstat thermostat perfectly. NOTE... sides are tapered.. smaller o.d. goes down into thermostat housing.. clean out housing bolt holes of coolant with air gun or Q-tip before installing capscrews... a little antiseize on threads... much less expensive than auto parts store.... no leaks..

A necessity for a new Stant Thermostat installation
Stant, and Stant products including vehicle Thermostats, best in the business. Note: Some of Stant thermostats that are sold are without the necessary gasket. It is important to NOT use the existing gasket, even if an existing Thermostat gasket looks fine, because of slight variances in diameters and the mating surface on the Thermostat housing. I used this gasket with a new Stant thermostat, (purchased separately), and my vehicle engine runs cooler while allowing the heat to begin much quicker. I'm not associated in any way with Stant. I just believe their products and this gasket that is coupled with their 195-degree Thermostat, is absolutely the best in the business. 5 stars !

Came on time, was exactly as ordered, and fit properly.

Poor fit
Does not work well with Stant 45849 SuperStat. Very loose fit, such that coolant can seep between the gasket and the thermostat.
