Fantastic results after only 5 uses. I had a very white beard on cheeks and chin and this product darkened my beard into a dark grey and working towards my normal brown hair color. I am amazed at how well it works. And it does happen gradually. I had to find some “before” pictures to compare and the difference is staggering. I find it easy to use after a couple washes once you know how to manage the shampoo. I am able to wash my beard without even having to take a shower and I have been able to avoid any staining. I wash my hands thoroughly with soap and water after treatment to avoid staining of my hands/nails. I then wait 5-6 min and then rinse. I noticed a difference after only a few washes. I am now going to maintain what I have and I am VERY pleased with the result. I am only 48, but with a white beard it made me look/feel like I was 60. Now I have confidence to wear my beard and the look again matches my age. I recommend this product to anyone wondering if they can change their WHITE beard. Go for it, you won’t regret it. The wash smells great and it makes my beard very soft. Make sure you take “before” pics and add in some others between washes so you can see the transformation. Truly incredible product.

I am 31 years old with a dark brown beard. However, at age 27 I began to receive a quick increase of white (not grey) hair on my chin. Dismayed, I turned to certain daily dyes like Blackbeard For Men. Although Blackbeard works (I'd say 3.5 stars of 5), Just For Men ControlGX blows it out of the water. I had a white patch on my chin, however, ControlGX took care of it in about a week. According to the directions, if you want to get rid of grey hair in your beard quickly, use this twice a day for 4-5 minutes in the shower. I did and I am very, very pleased that it even dyed my white hairs! A couple things though. One, follow the directions. Two of my fingernails are stained (slowly fading, though) because I did not rub the shampoo in with my palms. Second, I had a lot of blond on my chin but those are dark brown now, too. A necessary sacrifice.

I've been using this product for about five weeks now. Every morning for the first two weeks and then every two or three days now. It does make a big difference as the beard on my cheeks was almost completely gray and the goatee area on my face still had natural color. The gray is still there near my temples but there is so much more color throughout. I had tried dying my beard with Just For Men a few years ago and had a horrible allergic reaction. I was very, very skeptical at first about this product but no allergic reaction whatsoever! A hint I can offer is if you wish more color right away leave the product on for a longer period. I left it on initially for only two to three minutes and saw no results. After leaving it on for five-seven minutes I noticed color right away. Another thing I discovered was that if I let my beard grow longer and use it, it was more effective than putting it on my shorter cropped beard. Yes, it does slightly turn your fingers darker but this goes away in a day or two. Yes, if you are dripping it all over the place it will stain a white towel. I now put a small amount in my palm and use an old toothbrush to work it in instead of my fingers. I did the allergy test at first and I recommend you do that as well! It works like it should.

I really like the idea of this product. The execution is somewhat lacking. I hope they bring out version 2.0 First, the good. It is very easy to use. No stopwatches. No mixing stuff. And one package goes a long way. But the bad. It's messy. If I use it in the shower (which is the most natural) I wind up with brown (really, purple) smears on the tile. Not a killer, they wash off if you get them while still wet. But the worst, it doesn't work well. At least for me. It does just what I wanted on my chin but leaves my jaw and cheeks pretty much untouched. Maybe I'm doing it wrong, but I have better results with the "Just for Men Mustache & Beard" product. The reason I tried this stuff is the Mustache& Beard needs more fussing and one box only gives me two treatments. And there is a noticable change between treatments. Maybe the version 2.0 will combine the good traits of each.

I was most concerned that it would look unnaturally uniform in color, like I had painted my beard. This is just the opposite. Not all of my beard takes the dye the same, so there is some variation in coverage. This makes it hard to tell that I have colored it. Your mileage may vary, of course. It took about 2 weeks of daily use to reach the full color. After that, I use it 2-3 times per week to keep the look. Because it is applied in the shower, you should be careful to rinse the shower floor immediately after washing it out of your beard so that the tile grout is not affected. And use a small, old towel to dry your beard before you dry off with your good towel so that you don't stain it.

At home I have to leave it in for about 7 minutes and it never really gets dark. I can wipe it off on my hands and it is more like a very light purple. Went on vacation to a resort in costa rica and figured I would have to do what I always do and still not get much of a result, HOWEVER! The water in the resort must have had a different alkalinity or something because after about 3 minutes of having it on, I noticed dark run off down my chest, it actually worked in Costa Rica but doesnt in Austin! Crazy. Going to call their 800 number and find what the deal is with water chemistry. It may be that distilled water will work better with it. That is my next test.

Works well. For longer gray beards, the coloring didn’t happen for me, so I trimmed and started again. Perhaps I was a little impatient but the result since trim, is as advertised. One caution - if you have white shower curtain be careful. The dye will stain.

The item delivered is not the same as advertised by the seller. The packaging and quality both are different. It has no effect on the bear even you finish it. The orignal one is just in advertisement

Not allergic to it like others

This is a bit light rust brown color while the other "Scandinavian" competitor dark. So I rotate both every two days and it evens it out. Takes time to apply so often but looks way more natural than regular dye.

It didn't work for me. It did nothing. I used it everyday for two weeks and only covered little grey hairs.
