Help ful tips
Looks like a good product; haven't put it through the time test yet. Some helpful tips:1 - Watch their video; It will show you exactly how to do it.2 - The taping is very important; make sure it sticks (I also used electrical tape around the rubber of the toe - because it sticks to it, so you don't have to worry about drips on the front of the shoe.3 - If you could have another person help you (after you put all the product on one shoe), they could rotate the shoe for the minute needed (so the product dries evenly); and you can start the other shoe before the product dries in the tube.3A - If it is only you; After you get the product on one shoe, and you are rotating it so it can dry evenly -every 10 seconds or so - squeeze just a tiny bit (1/8") out of the tube. By doing so, the product will not dry in the tube, and you can use the same tube for the 2nd shoe.4 - Pull of the tape (neatly) as soon as you think rotation is done (or about 30 -45 seconds). You can still occasionally rotate it for another 1/2 minute or so.5 - As the video shows; if you want a Matte finish, wait 30 minutes, until not tacky, and rub finger along dried product.6 - I used the gun, it seems to be worth getting, especially if you plan to do more.I actually did two pairs of shoes with one tube (and second pair had holes - that I pre-filled). You could see by the new pair that I could have went further up the toe box, but I did not feel it was necessary (reason I was able to get two pairs covered). Why the 4 stars? Not all that impressed by their customer service:I had a product on the shelf - unopened; I did not realize it had a shelf life (doesn't tell you on the product - back then). New product - they have expiration date. They didn't care (I understand, but if you don't have a notice on your product (original tube), how is the user supposed to know?2ndly: The photo shows 3 tubes; they only supplied 2 tubes. I emailed them; they said sorry, they have to tell Amazon to rectify photo. They said they would not send out 3rd tube (how long has that photo been up there?).Edit: The seller responded to my dis-satisfaction, and is sending me out the one tube.

not a lot of working time to level
product works good and so does the applicator gun. It only self levels some so putting it on even is really important if you want a decent looking boot afterward. The other thing to note is it does start to solidify quickly so an even application can be tricky. I sanded mine after the first attempt since I had a few high ugly spots. I knocked down the high spots and put another layer over and tried to keep it thin since there was already a layer applied. Much better on the 2nd layer keeping it level. The shiny surface is durable so if you desire a shiny boot this will work well. Otherwise scuffing it up a bit will take the shine away. It's also a bit pricey but so are good boots so protecting them is part of making the investment last.

Easy to install, tough as hell
I used this on a new pair of square toe boots I purchased, and had enough to do what I feel is an adequate amount on that pair as well as enough to "patch up" an old pair of boots for use around the house, yard, garage. The kit makes it a lot more comfortable and less awkward to apply.

Concrete finisher must have!
Highly recommend this product! I first witnessed the tuff toe epoxy outlast a pair of my brothers boots and had to give it a try for myself. I paid the extra for the gun applicator because of convenience and it was well worth the money. It allows you to evenly apply with little to no effort at all. The tuff toe itself is amazing. I didn’t think it would hold up at first because I am extremely hard on my boots but this stuff is amazing. I am a concrete finisher so the toes on all of my boots that don’t have tough toe were worn through the leather within days of wearing them. I will put this on every pair of boots that I ever buy.

Great for disc golf shoe repair
If you throw forehand more than likely you drag your toe which will wear a hole in your shoe. I use this product to repair the holes and it does an excellent job. I have a couple pairs of Keens and repair both at the same time once a year. The applicator gun tool makes it a lot easier to apply. With this kind of repair I don't use that much of the product and run out of nozzle applicators before I can use up the product. Would be nice to be able to buy additional applicator nozzles.

Perfect
This was exactly what I was looking for. If you're looking to get ahead in your career you might consider knee pads and overlook how quickly the toes of your boots will wear out. This product can make you and your boss happy as there is plenty to share.

Tougher than the boots it goes on.
If you wear work boots, do yourself a favor and buy this kit. Easily extends the life twice as long due to not wearing out the toes. The stuff is truly “tuff”!! The application kit is far easier than the old method of squishing and using what amounted to a mini-popsicle stick.

This stuff is awesome
It’s a little pricey and it’s not easy to work with but if you take your time and follow the instructions exactly(there is a YouTube video that I would recommend watching) this stuff is awesome.
