Will this protect glass jars?

I actually sent mine back, because it was too small for all of my products. (I seem to carry many things). I personally would NOT put glass in it.

what is the size of the side pockets? Can I fit an 8" portable water pick on the side?

I have a 5" Tums bottle in the side and it just fits....There is an outside zippered pouch that measures 9"s on the diagonal but it would depend on the diameter of your pick.
