Baby Harness Strap (not Suitable for car Seats)

Our little one always managed to get his shoulder straps down and then he could get his arms out.Unfortunately with us saying "No" he'd then think we were playing a game, and he'd do it every time!Luckily it was only in my car (couldn't do it in Mummy's car. Don't know what brand tat car seat is but the shoulder straps are stuck Solid on him)This simple, yet sturdy clip keeps his shoulder straps on his shoulders. It's simple to fit yet tight enough to not move about when the journey is on. It's too difficult for my nearly six year old to release. Adult fingers only I reckon. And that's a good thing.Why four stars? I think it's strong plastic might be a bit painful on a little ones chest in an accident. I doubt it'd do any lasting damage as the harness should do its job, but it'd be perfect if there was a padded Velcro cover to fold over it once it's closed perhaps.However this wouldn't stop me recommending it. The benefits of correctly positioned harness straps in an accident (or heavy braking!) would more than make up for any superficial bruising across the little ones chest.

I searched for a strap lock for a car seat on Amazon. This item came up in the search with the main picture in the listing showing this harness strap used for a car seat, that's why I ordered it. When it arrived, there was a sticker saying "not suitable for car seats, so no use to me. Misleading listing!

Impossible to fix on the Maxi Cosi Tobi. Was able to fit in my parent's Mamas and Papas though and they find it useful.

My daughter was forever taking her arms out regardless of how tight we pulled the harness until one day she decided to do it and stand in her seat whilst we were travelling at 70mph on the motorway. This was one of the most scary experience I have had driving as a Mum. Ordered this device and we have never had another incident of removing the harness.

I really like it. It works! Our guy hasnt been able to slide his straps down off his shoulders, so we are happy that he is secure in his car seat. He did protest on the first day and try to pull it off... but he had no success! a good value for money product that works.

A bit of head scratching at first as this just came in an envelope with no instructions. But once I'd fathomed it, it's great!! Simple to fast and open and my little boy can no longer take his arms out of his straps on his car seat.

Brilliant purchase, it was easy to fit (if you can remove your straps) and good quality. It really held the straps together and made them safer for my daughter.

After 3 attempts buying other products this one works to keep my very clever 2 now 3 year old from climbing out of his seat.But of a hassle putting it on for the first time but once it's on its brilliant and the only thing that has worked. Highly recommend.
