Product description Review: Writes without touching the screen. - I recently purchased this stylus to use with my Surface Go. Setup was easy and it worked right away, just put the battery in and off you go. However after a bit of using it I noticed that it was activating buttons (opening / closing windows) and even writing (when in an app that supports it) without the pen even touching the screen. After playing with it some it appears to activate when it is about 1/2" from the screen at which point it thinks its in contact. It is "usable" but very clunky. EDIT: After contacting both the seller and desertcart tech support, both agreed that the particular stylus I received was defective. Getting a replacement was fast and easy. The new stylus works perfectly. Review: Works for surface pro 2017 - I ordered 2 pens for a surface pro 2017 and for my husband's surface go. I didn't realize it was only for the surface GO until opened the package and discovered that it specifically said for surface go only. I still gave it a try and it works perfectly on the pro 2017. This is the best deal and I like that Bluetooth is not needed...just pick up and use! I'm glad I didn't have to return a pen for a more expensive one.

Randomly stops working and no response from company
At first, the pen was perfectly fine and worked as expected. However, after maybe a month or so it would randomly disconnect even in the middle of writing something and then randomly reconnect. I would have to remove the battery to get it to reconnect, but now I can't even do that because the battery cap is stuck meaning that while this is already pretty useless when the battery runs out there's nothing I can do. I contacted the company about this a couple of weeks ago and still haven't heard anything back. So, if you what you want is a useless stick of metal and plastic then this is the product for you,

Overall 3.5 stars. It’s fine for your money
If I could I’d give it a 3.5 stars. I use it for my HP 360x ENVY Pros: -Good value for money -Lightweight -Compatible with most windows touchscreens -Comfortable in your hand Cons: -Doesn’t always connect to the screen. —Sometimes when you’re using it to draw you get a weird line because it isn’t connected. -You have to push harder than expected sometimes which worries me Overall: It’s fine for the money. I loose these sometimes so I don’t want to spend money on a $70+ pen every time. If you’re going to use it for everyday functions and don’t loose things easily I would suggest the Bamboo Ink pens that are designed for Windows Ink.

Great Value
Pros: -Quality function for the price -Accurate detection with tablet -Cancels out and ignores palm resting on the screen and isolates response to just that of the pen tip (makes it very comfortable to draw) Cons: -Accuracy of detection slightly decreases as pen angle deviates from perpendicular with screen. Not perfect but certainly better than comparably priced pens. Details: This pen was tested on a Microsoft Surface Pro (2017). The two images provided showcase examples of pen drawing and writing. Having previously tried about 3 other pens offered Amazon at similar price ranges and with relatively favorable rating, this pen proved to be the best performing pen at this price range. Overall, I'd give it a 4.5/5 stars. What would make the pen a 5/5 would be rechargeable functionality and more accurate detection. So far, this is the only one I have tried that I'd recommend as a substitute for your higher priced Microsoft or third party stylus pens.

Works with Surface Pro 6
It works out of the box, and came with a spare tip. Also is the cheapest surface compatible pen. Worth the price.

Great AFFORDABLE product!
My daughter who is a freshman needed this stylus for her school assigned Microsoft Surface, her algebra teacher recommended this one and it’s worked very well for months now!

Poor design choices. Unresponsive.
Had the pen for a year now. Pen is too symmetric and the colors are all the same so it is difficult to gauge the orientation of the pen visually or by feel, therefore it is difficult to find the buttons. Pen was poorly responsive from the very beginning to a year later. Thought it was my tablet, it wasn't. Battery life was not the issue (Using brand new Energizer batteries. Confirmed by multimeter). Would have to take out battery and put back in to "reset" the pen after every 15ish minutes. Pen is unusable a year later. Spring mechanism holding the writing bit got loose. Now the stylus freely falls out.

Is good pen.
Works well and there's no paingul pairing process. Put the battery in and start to doodle. Have not yet tested to confirm if this pen is mightier than the sword.

Fine tips are good for writing and drawing
The touch tip is fine enough for drawing. The accuracy for surface series is so great and react fast one the tip touches the screen. The only one function for this pen is the right click bottom doesn’t really work well on my surface that I still need to use my finger or pen for a long touch to have the right click box showed.

Waste of money
This product did not work out of the box with my Microsoft surface. I contacted the manufacturer support and they told me to check the orientation of the battery, which was already correct, or to replace the battery, other than that I would have to contact Amazon support. After replacing the battery and it still not working I contacted Amazon and the only option was to return the item for a refund. Once I have it returned and get my refund I will get a pen from a different manufacturer

I mean it's not terrible for the money
Other reviews here led me to believe it's actually pretty good, which it's not. It does work like a pen and it's cheap, but the moment you compare it to the actual Surface pen, it doesn't get close. It's a lot less accurate the delay is higher, and there is a lot more jitter when drawing with it (in the pic the first line in each group is the Microsoft pen, the second is VORCSBINE). Also there is no magnet in it and it's plastic, but the battery inside of it does get attracted to the built-in Surface magnets. Unfortunately only the magnets at the bottom for the typecover are strong enough, so you can't attach this pen and any typecovers at the same time. Overall it works, but the performance is pretty meh.
