Virbac Dental Chews CET102-3 Malt Toothpaste (3 Pack), 2.5 oz

I take a q tip and rub it on her gums and across her teethchanging q tips and making sure that it does not go toooff the teeth or gums area.I have used a soft baby toothbrush but she prefersme to wrap unscented gauze that is not treatedwith any chemical and put the paste on it and rub her gumsand teeth.The gauze in stores you have to look carefullyfor the roll of it that is unscented and no medicationadded to the gauze.

Previous paste (a different brand) I used was beef flavored and had an objectional odor that lingered (on the toohbrush unless I rinsed and rinsed it). I like the C.E.T. malt flavor, no pungent odor and it seems to stick to my dog's teeth better thereby increasing it's effectiveness. After just a couple of weeks use I was able to scrape tartar off one tooth with my fingernail.

I use this toothpaste and brush both of my dogs' teeth with soft, kid-size toothbrushes at least 2-3 times per week. The vets ALWAYS compliment me on how nice my dogs' teeth look! My dogs also love this flavor (more so than the vanilla mint) and run to me when it's toothbrushing time as though it's snack time. It doesn't really have a scent, and their breath does smell a lot fresher afterward.

I like that they have several flavors. My pup is allergic to chicken and threw up vanilla but LOVES the Malt flavor. I'm so glad they carry Malt flavor

I've tried all the brands and flavors and this is the BEST. I thought they'd (4 big dogs whose teeth I brush nightly) love salmon or beef- no way- the malt is all I use. Regarding Mint- I learned long ago that mint is totally yucky to dogs. Why the manufacturers make mint-flavored treats is insane, I guess the dogs have no choice- yucky treat or nothing..

Best Flavor my dog uses it daily. In 12+ years she's only had a vet visit for teeth cleaning twice

I old dog (almost 17 years old) still loves to have her teeth brushed.
