A balanced multi-vitamin/multi-mineral with quality ingredients. Not cheap, but high quality supplements never are.

This product is good but the only thing I found that it increases the blood sugar. So this product before taking any Sugar blood test like Sugar fasting or Sugar Random should be avoided. Please take Doctors advice before buying the product. In addition it keeps the energy level high.

I use first doctors best multi vit. And now using this product. In my opinion dr best product is much better than this. And also rainbow send almost expired date product.

It's hard to know what to take for a multivitamin. There are so many recommendations out there. You can go to a dozen different websites and find a dozen pieces of conflicting advice. In the end, I found Rainbow Light recommended at multiple websites and appreciated the simplicity of the bottle and lack of outrageous claims about its benefits.It came quickly and I immediately started taking it. First problem I've had with other vitamins is that they are sometimes hard to swallow. This vitamin, despite its medium size, is somehow never really hard to swallow. It is not a gel or made of a slick surface - very plain in fact. Somehow it goes down very easily, though.The smell was something to behold. It is a greenish vitamin that almost invokes being on a farm. It's not a pleasant odor and I try to keep the bottle closed unless I am taking one. You don't smell it through the bottle and the smell doesn't last once you swallow the vitamin, but it's not a good smell. I tell myself it's more natural that way. Smell is not going to make or break a vitamin for me, though.I did notice as soon as I started taking it that, like most vitamins with excess riboflavin, I started seeing almost neon urine. This apparently is common, although I still wonder about it and if that means it's not good for me. I have read up on it and apparently it is harmless and is expected. That does raise a general issue with vitamins in that even if they put in extra vitamin this or that, your body can only digest so much of it at one time, which is why healthy meals are much better for you than a daily multivitamin.I haven't experienced in other side effects, though, and generally I've felt like my energy has improved. It may be a placebo effect, but whatever it is, it feels good. We'll see if it has any effect when cold season comes around or any longer-term health benefits that I can perceive. In all, if you buy into multivitamins, this one seems natural, not overly-puffed full of outrageous ingredients, and is easy to take. I plan to continue with the brand.
