These are great but lighting levels a bit misleading (6 positions)
These are nice when you don't want to light up the whole room to read or have lights off to eventually fall asleep while reading. The 6 levels of brightness is a bit misleading as well. The light basically has 2 lights on each side, both controlled with their own power selector. This allows you to have the bottom, top or both on at same time. This is technically 6 different positions but it doesn't actually change the light layout in any way. They are basically on at low or high, left or right or both sides at same time. I was thinking I would get 6 different levels of brightness but that is not the case. They are still very handy and can use in many situations rather than just reading. Any situation that requires light where there is none or limited light. Some situations I thought of:Working/checking things underneath your car hood in the dark.Walking after the sun has gone down, to make sure cars know you are on the street.Working in tight spots or things that take 2 hands, these allow you to be hands free.Pretty much any low light/no light hands free situation these can be used for. They feel better than the head type lights with headbands in my opinion.I'm very satisfied with these and plan on giving a few pairs as presents since I think anyone can use them in some situation or another. The price is great when below 15$-20$, they are made very well and don't feel cheap or flimsy.

This light is super bright.
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. First of all I want to say that for being so cheap I wasn't expecting much, but as soon as I sat down with my book to read last night it sure did impress me. Not only was I able to read, but it can help with finding things in the dark ( I might've dropped my book). I read for 2 hours and I still haven't charged it so the battery life is quite impressive as well. It is also very comfortable around the neck in any position I sat/laid down in. There is also 3 different light settings to choose from . If you're looking for an amazing book light that's affordable, but also efficient this is the right one. Unfortunately my siblings like it so much I had to buy it for them so be careful.

Essential for hand sewing or quilting!!
Updated: I use this every time I sew now. See picture. It hangs on my neck perfectly and brightly illuminates what I'm working on. I can be in the TV room watching movies with the lights off and have these pointed directly at my work and see it perfectly without disturbing any one else. I have gotten to the point that I use it every time I sew under any lighting conditions because it gives clear, bright, light right where I need it. It's very easily adjustable and very very bright. It lasts a LONG time between charges and it charges quick. I bought THIS SPECIFIC ONE for 3 reasons. 1st it's longer then the others by a few inches which makes it easier to point and adjust where the lights are pointing. 2nd it has the hook and loop fastener to join the 2 lights together. This feature is essential otherwise they tend to wander with my movements. The center fastener holds the 2 lights in the exact place that I need them even if I move. 3rd it tended to have less reviews complaining about charging problems. I have had no Charging problems. The connector seems to be solid but because this is a common complaint with these type lights, I'm careful when I plug it in and out. I leave it charging on a counter where it stays undisturbed just out of caution and not because I've had a problem. It's a couple dollars more but I believe these 3 features turn it from being nice to it being essential. I'm ordering a second one so I can have a pair with 2 different projects I'm working on or in case one is charging. (I really haven't run into an issue with them requiring a charge before I'm done working. It has never died out on me. I've only needed to charge it when I'm done anyway. A second pair will allow me to have a set in each project bag I have.Works great just what I wanted for sewing. It was really slow in getting here though. Good product.

Best purchase in a long time!
We bought 2 - one for me, and one for my wife. Both of us love this and use it every day. (Mostly night!)You can light both sides, but I find that just turning one side on is enough for reading. If you're walking around needing to do some hands-free work, then lighting both sides would probably be best.We bought this 6 days ago. We fully charged it once, and we haven't needed to charge it again yet, and it doesn't show signs of dimming yet. Of course I'm sure the duration of the battery life will depend on how much you're using it each day. I personally use it about 1 hour per day. (If I have any issues after charging it, I'll come back and edit this review.)***UPDATE - I finally had to recharge it. It lasted TWENTY-NINE DAYS before it had to be recharged!!! I used it every one of those 29 days for between 45 - 90 minutes each night, and sometimes more! It performed just as I would hope - On the final day of usefulness, it finally began dimming. My point - It didn't dim noticeably at all for 28 days. Only on the last day did it start to dim, and then I recharged it after still using it for 45 minutes. After recharging, it's working totally fine.Note to users: I almost always only turned one side of the dual flashlights on to read. It's more than bright enough with just one turned on. I'm sure this helped it last for 29 days.

So handy!
I got this light for my needlework and it performs perfectly. I can aim the lights at my work and they stay put. I had been using a head-mounted light, but the weight of the batteries gave me a headache. The Ledgle stays bright for about 6 hours before I have to recharge it, which works out for me to be every other night. I also found it very handy when I have to go out after dark or before dawn. I live in a rural area with no street lights and I'd have to juggle a flashlight in one hand to open/close gates, walk the dog, et al. (Yeah, I could turn on the outside lights, but that wakes up the chickens and no one wants roosters crowing at midnight because of light pollution.) The Ledgle lets me go out hands-free. I put it around my neck, aim the lights ahead of me, and I have both hands free now with enough illumination to see what I'm doing and where I'm going.
