Tiny Potty: a teaching book for ages 6 months and up

The media could not be loaded. This book is great for early potty training. The book goes through each step of the potty training process. The story is great and the illustrations are cute!

Other potty books are so complex. This one teaches the basics in a very simple way that’s great for babies and young toddlers. It was loved by my 18 month old for so long. “Mama pee!!!” was the line that helped her know what to say when she couldn’t talk very much. Great for those ECing or potty training early.

I love this book because of the way it approaches potty training. It’s very clear and direct. It doesn’t talk about diapers.Many others talk about using diapers, and all the top potty training methods really push to commit to being done with diapers!I lend this book out to anyone that asks me about potty training. The last one never came back. 😆 I ordered a new copy for my next kiddo.My only wish is that it was an “indestructibles” book instead of a board book… since it’s in the bathroom with us quite often…

Great purchase, I was hesitant at first as I started EC at 4 months thinking my baby doesn’t even know what a toilet is yet how will she learn from this book. Let me tell you, adding this into our routine has not only made it fun for my baby but it’s also given us a chance to bond too. She’s 7 months now has been successfully going in her toilet consistently and enjoying every minute. This book has been a great addition to our toilet time and the size is PERFECT for babies. She loves this book more because of that. It’s something she can hold herself at a time she’s searching for more independence and freedom.

Cute book, short and to the point which is great for my 13 month old. He is starting to pick up on the concept and words!

We love this book. My daughter gets so excited even when I read the first page. She’s 21 months and can recite most of the words in the book. This definitely encourages her to go to the potty. She can empty her little potty now by herself and the part about the toilet paper spinning has never been an issue for us as previous review mentioned.

If your kid is really into using a tiny potty, then they might like this book. Otherwise I don’t think there’s anything particularly helpful in it— I wouldn’t exactly call it a “teaching” book. My kiddo never really seemed interested in, and most of all, the rhyming scheme is very awkward and I don’t enjoy reading it.

Excellent book for EC. My daughter added "psss" sounds to the finger sign she was using for "potty" after we read this book together a few times. She also likes identifying the potties on the different pages. I like the helpful phrases like "Back, back, squat. Sit on the pot." And the whole thing can be read as a fun little rap if you're so inclined. Best potty book I've come across so far.

Cute book, short and to the point which is great for my 8 month old boy. My feedback will be do be more inclusive as in all the slides is only mentioned Mama who helps and there is no mentioned of daddy.It will be better if one page says Mama and another Daddy
