Can leak and not sturdy
First of all, these are as advertised: They are liners to help make clean up easier. That said, they *can* leak so expect to do some clean up still. And, as others have said, being tempted to use them as a bag/sling to remove food from a crock can end up in disaster. There's only four in a box, so they are rather expensive (at least here on Amazon). Lastly, they have no self-sealing mechanism, like a zip-top for transport/storage... but then again since they leak you probably wouldn't want to use them for that anyways. This is one of those products I was convinced I would love before I even used it. The concept is so simple that how could they screw it up? Well, they can leak. Yes, clean up is a lot easier anyways, but any leak means the product didn't live up to its claim. Next is that it is inevitable that after cooking you will temped to pull the food out using the bag and store the leftovers. Why not make these heavy-duty with a sealing top? Such a basic improvement would have knocked these out of the park. I also expected more than 4 in the box. The box felt mostly empty and that's because, well, it was. I had to do a double take to notice that, yes, it was only supposed to contain just the 4 bags. For an avid slow cooker fan, that's not going to last even a week.As a last note, my box seemed to have been involved in some minor glitch on the packaging line. One of the bags was covered in glue that was probably used to seal the box and there were several of the same recipe pamphlets enclosed. (Am I supposed to hand them out to friends? ;')Three stars for doing just barely what it was advertised to do.

If you're like me, and you're new to cooking
If you're like me, and you're new to cooking, I would definitely recommend trying slow cooker recipes. They're very simple and fast. The only downside is that depending on what you're making and for how long, the mess left behind in your crockpot can be daunting sometimes. With this product, it cuts down cleaning time to virtually nothing! Just remove the used bag, rinse your crockpot and you're doneone thing should be mentioned that if you're cooking something that requires opening the lid a lot to stir (for instance, cooking a ham), the condensation does get in between the bag and the pot and overtime with the cooking can leave "charred looking" residues behind. However, clean up is still minimal compared to if you didn't have this bag.I wish they made this product in a larger quantity. One box only comes with four bags.

Durable, tough, work very well!
These bags make cleanup after using my slow cooker so much easier- whats not to love?!The bags are easy to use, though I was worried the first time I used one. I thought, how is this going to work? I'm going to break the bag with the spoon! Nope: it is a tough little bag, even when hot! After all, the worst thing to happen is that you will end up having to scrape/clean the crock, which is not a crisis. Once I thought of it that way, I treated the bags pretty roughly, and they remained durable! There isn't much to say about a bag, but this one has my vote: keeps me from scrubbing and soaking, and is a durable, tough chore-hound!

Works like a charm!
These things are a life saver! I am a terrible (and lazy) cook and was eating out almost daily, so I decided to give slow cooking a try. After a couple rounds of burning and scrubbing with the ceramic base I nearly threw in the towel. Then I happened to see a post about liners for slow cookers, and everything changed. Yes it's an extra small chunk of change every time you cook, but if it makes you actually USE the slowcooker instead of ordering a pizza I think they are worth every penny. I've had it spring a leak before, but I'm 99% certain that was because I was stirring my food with a fork.Would recommend to anyone who doesn't slow cook as much as they should (or would like to) because of the cleanup.

Decent, but not perfect
These liners are a great concept and probably work well for most applications, but they do have some issues. The primary issue is the durability of liners. When cooking chicken or pork in my slow cooker, I often use forks to shred the meat following cooking so the meat can remain in the juice or seasoning. Often times the forks or utensils will tear the liners and ultimate flood the inside of the cooker - which is precisely what I'm trying to prevent by using the liners. The liners do a good job during the cooking process to keep food from being burned onto the side of the slow cooker, so that's quite helpful for cleaning purposes. All in all, 4 stars because they're decent - not perfect.

NEVER USE A SLOW COOKER WITHOUT A LINER!
You will still need to lightly wash your slow cooker pot but not have to soak and scrub! This was a good deal compared to Hawaii retail prices.

Have a pair of scissors handy...to either cut the bags open or sit in the corner, cry, and cut your hair.
I was so excited to receive the liners so I could make some really messy, yummy stuff. I have the little triple crock pot, all three pots are 1.5 quarts each, so I knew what there would be a lot of extra liner. I pulled out the first liner, looked around all 4 sides to determine which end was open. This shouldn't be difficult for anyone with an IQ above 30. I was able to determine which end was unsealed but it wasn't cut open the entire length of the liner so I eased it open. Voila! The g*dd*mn joke's on me, the thing tore open, all the way down one side to the bottom seal. Now I'm down to 3 liners. I checked the others thinking maybe I got a bad bag but they're all like this. Because of my small pots I decided to cut them in half and reseal the new edges with my Suck n' Seal contraption. These liners are made for heat so you have to release and reseal twice to get a solid seal. It's a lot of work for a $5 box of 4 liners but less work than soaking and scrubbing cooked on apple crisp. Conclusion: I'd rather solve quadratic equations.

OMG!!!!
Why oh why are these not available in the shops? Built to fit up to a 6L slow cooker, throw it in, add your ingredients and cook for however long you need to.I've used these to slow cook a barbecued pork shoulder for 10 hours, the liners take it with no issues at all. When done, remove the liner, decant the cooked food and throw it away. Your washing up will consist of a quick wipe around with a damp cloth! If you own a slow cooker (and actually use it) there's no other way to put it - Reynolds Slow Cooker Liners are the law! These are now in my list of "must have" kitchen items.

This is a really good item, I can't believe you can't buy this in the shops. When I ask in certain shops they say they haven't heard of them, I've told all my friends and family and now they order them, they are really time saving, and I love them, how sad am I .

No need to wash your slow cooker - basically a 'cook in bag' solution
Works very well to ensure that you don't need to wash the slow cooker. I am not sure what the long term health risks might be in cooking your stew for a few hours in what is essentially a 'plastic bag' though.

Easy Slow Cooking
I first used this product when staying in Florida, and was so pleased to be able to buy them here. Apart from making cleaning of slow cooker just a wipe over, I always make double quantities of meals and, having taken out what is needed for one meal, just tie up the liner and put in the freezer for another day. I have recommended these liners to my friends.
