Sticks very well
Used it on stainless steel and polished steel nail clippers so I can get a good grip if my fingers are wet. Sticks to both metal surfaces very well and the grip is great!

Just sticky sandpaper
This stuff does not feel like rubber at all. It is sand paper that is stuck to a rubber strip maybe but not rubber on the nonskid side. Just applying it to the bunk bed stairs left my finger tips feeling worn down and scuffed up. My 4 year old doesn't seem to mind on his feet though so we'll roll with it. I will update if it bothers his feet or comes unstuck from the steps.

Do not waste your money.
The “grip” aspect of the product does in fact grip, as long as you’re comfortable gripping high grit sand paper. On top of this, the grip also rubs off and crimbles. The adhesion, is pathetic. Does not stick to; wood, plastic, metal, paint, rubber, and likely anything other than human skin. Maybe the product was intended to be stuck to skin and the grit used to grip whatever you’re trying to handle, however the adhesion is still too weak to even accomplish that. A 1 star rating is not low enough, in my opinion.

Was used for exactly what I wanted
Used this product for a pull up bar. It’s a little rough but it definitely helps with grip. Stays on very wall when applied.

Not rubber!
NOT RUBBER AT ALL! I gave it three stars because it's still a decent grip tape but it's like sand paper.

Perfect for repairing old vinyl stair treads
Don't believe the negative reviews. This product worked great to repair the grip tape on 40 year old stair treads. The original tape was coming up in places. I removed the old adhesive with goo gone, and cleaned the surface with windex to get a clean surface. The repair is still holding firmly after 4 months. These old stairs are used many times a day and the repaired section is almost indistinguishable from the original.

More like sandpaper grit
Not rubber. Rough like sand paper and very sloppy as the granules come off all over

Does the job, sticks well on my camera for best grip.
great stuff but hard to remove the backing paper, so simply leave a strip of paper, great stuff

Great adhesion
Adhesion is incredible so make sure you have it where you really want it.

It works but could have better adhesive.
I used it for the grip on an axe handle. It rolled off after a few uses. I then reapplied it with a heat gun and it stays. Melting it with a heat gun makes it stick better. Without that..not so sticky
