The Need for Speed (loaders that is!)
.38 caliber ammo in speed loaders fit nicely in this loops. Easily and firmly attaches extra ammo inside my fanny pack. Quality, functionality and price are all good. I have not had any issues with the quality of the velcro material or the devices retention to the molle inside my fanny pack.

Warning: will NOT fit a Glock 48, pay attention to barrel length
These holsters are great and work surprisingly well along with the Vertx bags (and any bag that has hook/loop panels).Wondering whether you should get the MPH Sub or the MPH Full size? That will really depend on the barrel length of your firearm. The measured length from the front of the ejection port to the end of the barrel needs to be pretty close to 2" -- if it's longer than that, the wrap will go around the slide but NOT the front sight, and you will get hung up on the front sight when drawing. For example, this length (front of the ejection port to the end of the barrel) on a Glock 48 is about 2.75" -- which means this wrap does NOT wrap around the front sight. As a result, the sight gets hung up when you try to draw, and if you have suppressor height sights for a co-witness on a red dot, it's even worse. You will have to use the Full which is longer and will wrap around the front sight. So if your firearm is longer than 2" from the front of the ejection port to the barrel end, you will most likely have a better experience with the Full size version. If it's really close to 2", this version still may work for you, but pay extra attention to the front sight when wrapping to make sure it's not getting hung up.In summary, when deciding on which size MPH to get, the determining factor is barrel length more than anything else. Fort what it's worth, this version, the Sub, had no problem handling a red dot and weapon mounted light (a Streamlight TLR-7 Sub specifically). While the Glock 48 has too long of a barrel, something like a Glock 43 will work just fine.

Bad Reviews Must Be User Error - Perfect for CCW Purses
I needed a hook-and-loop holster for my VP9 with a TLR8 A/G, and the bad reviews had me a little concerned. It took a few tries, but I was able to get the holster set up just right. Retention is entirely up to the user; if it's too tight, just wrap the underside a bit looser. If your sights snag, use the grip roll to cover the open port (that's where it'll snag), or wrap one of the wings around the front of the gun barrel to cover it, which is what I did.Additionally, the grip roll can be used to add some rigidity and protection around the trigger guard. It can be fiddly, but once it's set up right, and you get the ejection port retention bit lined up so you always get good indexing and retention, you never have to mess it with again. But you totally can, to reverse the hook-and-loop or draw side, which is fabulous. If you set it up right, you can even run a belt through it or DIY yourself an IWB clip, especially if you use a punch to make sure it doesn't go anywhere.I genuinely do not understand the issues people have reported having unless they were trying to cram a USP into the compact holster, or of a mental capacity that raises questions to their ability to safely and responsibly carry a firearm, or maybe it just works exceedingly well with the VP9 because of the slide geometry, but it does what I need it to do perfectly and would work well beyond that, too.A larger double-sided hook patch would have been nice, but you can get those for next to nothing. Additionally, I'd love a rigid tactigami-compatible panel to insert into other bags or purses, along with tactigami options built for a wider variety of everyday items.

Disappointing
I wanted to like this product for use with my Vertx bag, but it has several issues. The instructions are unclear, so after a few minutes of playing velcro origami I followed the video link they provide with the packaging. The video link provided just takes you to their YouTube channel, making it difficult to find the specific guide. After eventually locating the video, I found it fast-paced and hard to follow. The design doesn’t work well with optics—if your optic is close to the ejection port, the hole won’t line up properly, impacting retention. The retention mechanism, a rubber nub on Velcro placed over the ejection port is basically level 10 retention. It works by protruding into the ejection port. The instructions suggest cutting it down if drawing is too difficult. (which it definitely is) Also, suppressor-height sights are close to one of the cutouts, posing a drawing concern.Overall, this product overcomplicates things and for a hook-and-loop system. After an hour of adjusting and rewrapping, I got it to kind of work, but it’s not something I feel confident relying on. Overall, this product overcomplicates a simple concept. Disappointing, especially since Vertx makes other solid products. Hopefully, they improve on this one—caveat emptor. FYI the M-Tac version of this is cheaper and works perfect out of the box.

Works great with Glock 19 mags
Customizable to the width of your magazines. Sticks to Velcro very well and holds without issue. Mine currently carries Glock 19 mags and they were super easy to fit and they are easy to draw out of but they do not let the mag fall out. Will be buying more in the near future.Paired with my vertx bag it is the perfect spare mag for CCW
