She was put in undercover at the club by her boss. However she ended up liking the people she worked with an genuinely felt bad about lying to them. She was attracted to Shane a bouncer at the club but there was a no dating policy so she didn't think she ever get him. Shane watches everything going on in the club nothing escapes his notice one evening when a customer is getting all hands with Meghan he stepped in. Then later as he walks her to her car the same customer pops up out of no where and Shane ends up banning him from the club. He takes Maggie "Meghan" home and they both end up falling asleep on her couch. Things never go the way they should and Maggie sees something she shouldn't sending her and Shane on the run. Will they both come clean about their secrets? Will they survive the threat they are facing?This is an amazing story and will keep you entertained from beginning to the end. The chemistry between Shane and Maggie is extremely hot. This was a well written story with great characters. Once I started I couldn't put it down. I would recommend this to anyone that loves a great love story.I voluntarily read and reviewed this book. I enjoyed it so much I bought my own copy.

Not bad I have not read the other books but I liked this one. Maggie and Shane are hot together

We originally met Maggie in Dirty Laundry as she works at the same gossip magazine with Elise. Her latest assignment has her working undercover as a waitress at a strip club to collect the direct on celebrities. She is friends with everyone but her feelings for Shane are far from friendly.Shane is a security guard at the club and he has had his eye on her for months but knows that it can go no further as the no dating policy would put an end to both their jobs. He is very protective of her and considers himself her personal bodyguard so when a customer becomes aggressive he steps in and rescues her which only brings them closer.When she witnesses something she shouldn’t she goes to Shane and he will do whatever is necessary to keep her safe but will the secrets they hold bring them closer or tear them apart?I am loving this series and this story is no exception. The combination of suspense, drama, twists and red hot chemistry make this a story you won’t be able to put down.

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.Shane is in charge of security at the club where Maggie works. Maggie is sweet, sexy and a little nerdy and Shane finds her irresistible. Shane is a rough, bad boy and the star of all her fantasies, not that they would ever come true. Maggie is a good girl, not the type Shane would ever consider. Obviously Shane hides his feelings well. Shane believes he is not good enough for Maggie, so there's that.After an unexpected incident, Shane finds himself alone with Maggie at her apartment....playing with fire. Well more like a spark. Maggie is more that what she portrays herself to be. It's something she can't disclose at this point in time, so no, they will never be playing with fire. Not possible with the 'out of his league' thing and the non disclosure. Just when things begin to settle, Maggie gets herself into a predicament and needs to disappear. Her only hope is Shane. That's when he decides to come clean about who he really is.WOW, I TOTALLY DID NOT SEE THAT COMING ! AWESOME STORYLINE WITH LOTS OF TWISTS AND TURNS ! INSANE, INTENSE CRAVING WITH RAW, ALL CONSUMING PASSION ! ! ! DIRTY, NASTY, BREAK THE BED, RIP THE SHEETS SEX ! ! ! This book is good if your looking for an escape but if you’re looking for a good book to read…. This one falls short. This author failed to research dancers properly. No professional dancer (ballet or strip club) in their right mind would ever get a full pedicure! The slight hint at a BDSM lifestyle was lame and and responsible person in BDSM has a proper conversation with their partner about it and no way in hell she would call someone else Sir in front of him. There wasn’t as much character building in this book as there were in previous books of hers.

I'm not sure what the title has to do with the story, it's not easily linked like the first 2 books in this series. But, it's an interesting story with a wonderful and extended HEA. Usually authors give just a little epilogue to close everything up with a nice bow but this book's HEA takes up a good 10% of it which is nice, it doesn't feel rushed. You get the same care and delivery with the ending as you got with the rest of the story instead of what usually happens and that makes it even better. I did find it odd, though, that they were given an ultimatum to get out of the city by the mob boss, to which they agreed, but then they never left. That was a glaring oversight. What was the point of putting that in the story if the author was just going to ignore it? That's why I gave 4 stars instead of 5: because the author ignored a big piece of her own story.
