My bunny rabbits love it! Great value especially with subscription. Very fresh hay that my bunnies love the taste of!

8 out 10 boxes are perfect!
I have purchased this hay consecutively for 4 years now and specifically 16 times over the past year. I have 4 guinea pigs who plow through hay. This hay is tasty and wonderful, HOWEVER, statistically... 2 out of every 10 boxes I'll order is crappy. In the "bad boxes" the hay will be super super dusty and short making it extremely messy/dusty to use and undesirable to the pigs. It seems those "bad boxes" are the bottom of their bin/harvest. I wish the company would quality control those "bottom barrel" scraps and not sell them because i end up throwing the box away almost immediately due to unhappy pigs, the dusty mess, and uselessness. I will continue to buy their product but it's a gamble. Unfortunately my last box was a waste of $28 - I attached the photo of the "short hay" and notice the intense dust along the bag! Overall the product is worth the money, but don't be shocked if you get a "bad box"

Best hay ever
This is my guinea pigs favorite hay. It’s expensive but so worth it. 90% of it is always super green and fresh which other brands are not even close. Also it doesn’t have that bad hay smell and doesn’t mess with my allergies.

Impressed
Been ordering hay from Chewy for years and decided to give Amazon a try. I dont regret it! This hay is great and my bunny loves it. It smelled delicious. I've read reviews that had me a little skeptical but this hay did not disappoint!

My bunny LOVES this hay!!
We've been using this hay for our holland lop bunny for over 5 years! He loves it so much! I have an allergy to Timothy hay which I've found is very common, this is great option if you have this allergy or even if you don't! Highly recommend!

Do not recommend the 25 lb boxes
I hate to write this because I love Oxbow products, but the 25 pound hay boxes are a huge disappointment and waste of money.I started with Timothy hay in the 25 pound size and was extremely disappointed with the quality. A lot of very long, yellow, hard stems in there as well as an unbelievable amount of dust and pieces too small to use. My guinea pigs weren't eating as much of it and there was so much that was wasted. So I decided to try the Orchard with hopes it would be better. No luck. Very dry with a lot of yellow and brown pieces. I though the dust and tiny pieces may be better since Orchard is usually less dusty to begin with, but no, just as bad.My husband has developed extreme allergies to the hay in the larger sized boxes because of all the dust and small bits. My guinea pigs are sneezing more when they're in their hay piles and again, not eating as much of it.I had hoped to save some money with the larger size boxes since I have a herd of 8 guinea pigs, but I guess I'll have to go back to the 9 pound boxes. I never had an issue with any of those, great quality every time.

Good quality but don’t like small pieces.
Love this brand’s consistent quality but I don’t like small pieces, which I’ve just gotten used to longer lengths in big boxes purchased from farmers. Hay smells and looks good and guinea pigs love it. Is lasting forever.

Great
My bunnies favorite hay. It’s fresh when we get it and we usually transfer it to our hay bin to keep it fresher instead of keeping it in the box since it doesn’t reseal.
