It stays cold for a very long time and the pourer part works well and has a stopper included. Don't be like me though that first time you use it. Pour some wine out first before you put the stick in. Ok, I might've had a glass of wine before that.

I have 3 fo rmyself and i bought a few for my friends. It does keep your wine cool for a long period of time. I keep mine in the freezer until ready.

Had my doubts when ordering this, but it turned out pretty well. Need to cool my Zins and Cabs, and this does it just about right. (Don't think it would really chill a white enough, asthe fridge does Would probably keep them cool over the course of a meal.). Hope the plastic threads hold up -- they seem a little too small for longevity.

This wine bottle chiller is the perfect accessory for any vino lover. Not only does it keep my wine cool, it has stopper and pour features as well, making it very convenient to use. I’ll definitley be buying more!

It leaks when pouring!

Bought this puppy for my wife as she likes a nice cold glass of white wine every once in a while, which I don’t usually mind cause wine gets her feeling some type of way. However, ever since I snagged this Caplan device the only time she puts the bottle down is when she has to refreeze the metal stick which ends up freezing again within minutes cause of the dang Caplan Cooling Technology! Long story short, this device works good, possibly too good!
