Great for getting on and off
I have huge feet and the larger size( I ordered two sizes and I need the larger one) was what I needed but saying that they not only fit my winter boots but I could also use them on my waterproof walking shoes, which aren't as bulky. They gripped the ice and I felt very stable, better than the mini spikes. They are so easy to get on and off and adjust with the Velcro. The only downside, if you travel with them, is they are harder to pack than the mini spikes, they do take up a bit of room.I feel I finally found a good solution to not slipping on ice.

Heavy Duty Ice Treads
Originally purchased the ice treads and within 2 days a few of the pegs fell off. Requested a replacement and the second pair has done fine. Heavy duty and actually stay on your shoes when going thru snow. I'm 6'8" and they hold up great. Very punctual on replacement

Very good traction, fits my boots.
This years Mid-West Winter has left a lot of ice with the freeze and thaws. I walk several miles a day, almost every day, with my dog. These were purchased after wearing out a pair of the Yak... brand stretch on spikes, which wouldn’t fit in my boots. These Stabilicers were delivered yesterday and I gave them walk this morning over varied terrain on bare sidewalk, raw ice, and packed and loose snow. They worked great. I only slipped once walking along the side of a hill, and only because there’s no real traction on the side of these Stabilicers or my boots. One important suggestion for all new buyers, snug down the cleats with a socket or a nut driver before using them!I’m giving four stars and will adjust my rating and review after a couple weeks of use. I docked on star because mine didn’t come with the reflective straps that are shown in the description or many reviews and the cons that are listed below.Pros: VERY good traction, replaceable cleats, can be used on multiple pairs of boots, velcro straps are easy to secure and release, dual toe straps add stability for the front of the boot, definitely made for boots.Cons: straps on my pair of Stabilicers were not reflective as shown in the item photos, the rubber base toe strap retainer flips inward if the strap is snugged down (see photo), they weigh more than the slip-on grippers, but really seem to be designed for boots.

Perfect for ice!
This is the 2nd pair I've bought. They are a necessity for walking safely on icy surfaces. Very easy to put on and fit - simply step in and fasten the velcro straps. A real winner!

Buyer beware: Faulty product, faultier company!
I used these supposed "heavy-duty" cleats no more than a half-dozen times and only for about an hour each time. On the last usage, I could feel the heel of my right foot was loose so I figured the Velcro slipped and I would have to readjust. To my surprise, one of the back straps came completely undone from the rubber sole. It seems the glue or whatever else binds the strap to itself to form a loop was not up to the task of only a *few* hours of use! I also noticed the back loop on the opposite side was half undone so this does not appear to be a fluke - the cleat is just made poorly (see pictures). And to think the product description asserts that it is "built to stand up to hard use"!Well, I figured the company would stand by its product so I contacted them about the issue describing my limited usage and providing pictures of the faulty cleat. They decidedly did not stand by the product. They just gave me a quick one line answer that they only cover the cleats for one year. When I inquired further, they completely ignored me. I bought the shoes in July '22, used them a few times for winter '22-'23 and the issue occurred the first time I brought them out for winter '23-'24. I never would have guessed they could fail after such light use. To make matters worse, the price has gone up 40%! In a year and a half!! Please ask yourself if you should support a company like this. They seem much more interested in profits then caring about their customers.

grip tight
They work great!

Not like the older kind.
Straps need to be stitched and not glued. They do grip the ice quite well. Need to know were to buy the cleats.
