Best drawing notebook, love the “square” frame of the pages

I like the square size. Not great with watercolor but light washes are kind of ok. Will get another one when I finish this one

This is my first moleskine sketchbook and I choose this size because I don’t quite fancy the classic size. I do wish there was a hardcover version, but other than that, for me this is perfect. It has a soft cover and the paper is really smooth (unlike regular sketch paper) and it works perfect with dry media, archival and water based ink. If you stick to those it will not bleed through the pages, so you can use both sizes.I’m afraid that if your looking to use anything like paint markers, alcohol based ink or even watercolor, make sure the sketchbook you’re looking to purchase shows that in the description. The front packaging in this one will actually show you what is meant for.

I like it, but the cover was not hard AT ALL. It actually bent a bit from minimal use. I thought the pages would be thicker as well. I’m curious if I was sent the wrong item, but overall not super excited about this purchase.It was put together alright, but the description doesn’t seem fitting at all.

It's my third order already. Love it. I can sketch, draw and write with different materials (pencil, radiograph, markers, color pencils) and it does not bleed through, the surface is also quite nice. It also opens flat, has detachable pages which are useful at occasions, and is not heavy like hardcover Moleskine​. The size is just perfect, it fits in all my bags and is not too big and not too small for sketching.

I only use this.... I've tried all other possible sketchbooks but were not satisfying for my usage. I mainly use markers and pens for my illustrations. I hope Moleskine NEVER discontinue this product. The paper is so unique. My advice to other artists would be that you have to try all kinds and find your own.... I have found my own, which is this product. This works for me but might not work for others.

I heard great things about moleskin sketchbooks. This didn't live up to the hype its a preference thing but I have found that i like cheaper sketchbooks much much better. So if you are like me and cheaper supplies work well for you then you probably won't like this either. If you don't have a very heavy hand and if you find yourself having a hard time filling the space in large drawings then this could work for you.

Fint papper men något slappt/mjukt omslag och det skyddar därmed ej inte så bra.

Ich nutze das Skizzenbuch für Bleistift-, Buntstift- und Pastellzeichnungen. Die Qualität und Beschaffenheit des verwendeten Papieres überzeugt mich auf ganzer Linie. Die Seiten vertragen auch die eine oder andere Radierung sehr gut und auch die sehr feine Papierstruktur gefällt mir sehr.Werde mir definitiv weiter Moleskine Skizzenbücher verwenden.

I really like this unit. It can be folded back easily because it is not too thick. Tear out pages are awesome too.

It's pretty bleh.
