I was using the Danik mini-hook on a dock line for a small inflatable on my pier. I came back about an hour later and notice the tip of the composite hook had broken off. I am not sure what happened to make it break off. I called Denice in the Danik customer service. I sent her a photo that showed the broken tip and explained my situation. She was awesome! She apologized and said she would immediately send out a replacement. I received her package in three days. Much to my surprise, Denice also included an additional mini-hook (2) as well as a larger 3/8-7/16" 500lb adjustable hook!!!! WOW!Well done Danik!!!! I really like the concept and functionality of these hooks. Different docks different length's you need your Bumpers. These take the work out of having to re tie them.

the majority of the marine ropes/lines that are used are 3/8 and its a bummer that these hooks do not accommodate a 3/8 line.

I use these on the boat to adjust a line from boat to shore and a larger one on the Anchor line to the boat and a float for anchor line..It is super easy to adjust and has plenty of strength for what I use it for. Just be sure to get the correct size line and test it.Probably handy for other stuff you want to quickly adjust to a certain length.

I have the larger plastic danik hook and love it. I like the hooks ability to quickly adjust for length without tying knots. I use the larger hook for a small boat anchor line. So I bought the smaller hooks to secure items to my boat. I was disappointed to see that 3/8 thick 3 strand twisted nylon rope will not fit through the eye. 5/16 triple strand fits great. They should adjust the description to a smaller maximun diameter rope. I cant speak to longevity as I just got this.

They are easy to use in the water.I wish they were white or yellow.

Was looking for a system to hang fenders off my boat and found Danik hooks. They were perfect until someone twisted one side ways and ripped the gate clip off. Before buying a new one I called the manufacturer to see if i could get another clip. They immediately called me back to find the problem and fix it. They immediately sent out two replacement parts which arrived within days. Good customer service is rare, these guys are great and so is the product!!!
