Q: What is the load capacity?

I had use it with about 20 lbs load (dolly wheels, video tripod, fluid head, DSLR camera w/monitor) and it worked pretty good. I don't know what is its max load capacity though.

Q: Will this work with glide gear syl 960 tripod track dolly with swivel wheels and glide gear gg 1000 pro video / photo camera tripod with ball head?

Im not sure. I use a platform for dolly track, but most tripods are compatible dolly tracks. I think.

Q: Can this dolly track extend by buying additional track?

Yes, you can get pieces to join more sections.

Q: What is the diameter of the tube ?

It's slightly over 1 1/4 inches. If you have the angled rubber wheel mounts are used on a normal tripod they both work well....and it's very smooth even over the connecting points....no bumps or warping effects have been seen.
